Oh my, I had waited for so long for that apology, I thought that it would never come.
Umm, I also don't see Harry leaving a note to Severus, is that just a typo or.............?

    Author's Response: No he didn't leave a note--bad Harry!

Things are moving a bit fast, but that is fine with me. Thsi story is brilliant. Even after getting as many reviews as 1000, you still like them, I suppose, me too, I love them, you know the quote, what comes around, goes around. So, I am hoping I will get some reviews on ff.net too. Whatever,I thought Severus knew about the cupboard, I never knew that Harry's favourite colours were red and gold, though mine is blue. That adoption, I thought that the slavery spell would be broken by the adoption as a son can't be your slave.

Author's Response: Thank you for all the lovely reviews!  And yep, they're always nice to receive!  The slavery spell is resolved by the end of the story.

    Author's Response: Thank you!

"I'll help you," Hermione, usually the voice of reason, promptly agreed.
I completely love this chapter! So so so awesome. The way you have portrayed Ron and Hermione, they are a bit OOC but I like them like this too! I would have copied and pasted the entire conversation, but I settled for my favourite line. (Quite difficult to choose.)

Author's Response: I've always loved Ron and Hermione!  Who wouldn't want to have such loyal friends who will always be there for you?  Harry was very fortunate to have the two of them.

Oh la la. I love this. At first I thought that Harry was going to slit his wrists. Though I liked that method better, this one was good too! Lets see Ron and Hermione's reactions too!
You see, your Harry is quite realistic, who wouldn't want to die after all that Harry has suffered. I guess the only thing that kept Harry going on in the canon series is the need to destroy Voldemort. I guess after that Ginny was enough for him to have the will to live. He has suffered quite enough and the Dursleys had always made sure that he had a low self esteem. It was only logical that Harry tried suicide. The slavery spell just added to his list of thing to die for.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you're still reading and enjoying the story.  Yes, I always thought it was a little unrealistic for Harry to be so resilient after all he had been through, so I wanted to show him being more affected emotionally.  Thankfully, he does have wonderful friends to help him through it all, and now he has Severus as well.

This story gets better and better, I love it. I don't clearly know but I have a vague idea that I have read it before, whatever, I love it as much as the first time.
I really like a guilt ridden Snape, because something happened to Harry, you will find a challenge named "Snape Rage" I guess you can add that too, you see, I want Harry to not have done anything but Snape blaming him and because of which it has drastic consequences. Your writing style too is really good, your sentence construction leaves little to be desired. If my guardian wasn't hovering over me like a hawk, I would have read the whole bloody night! But alas, everything can't happen as we want so I guess I would finish your story in about, um, 4 days? A really nice story by the way, though I think the Slave bond is a little slack, anyway, the less humiliating it is for Harry, the better, I read another story in which the Slavery spell was a lot more demanding,(Coals of Fire) *shudder*. Though that story was also good, I like this one better.
    Thanks for writing this story!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your kind compliments!  I'm glad you're enjoying my little monster of a story, lol.  I hope you will continue to read and enjoy!

I love the development in this story! I also think it's really interesting the way you choose to have the Dursleys continue to affect Harry, and I think it really fits.

Author's Response: Thank you so much!  I appreciate your kind words and it's great to see someone reading and enjoying the story!
