Well, there went any hope of trusting each other. They seem to be at an impasse. Maybe Harry will make out better with the texts for now.
Trust Hermione to check out the books about occlumency and give Harry and Ron the Cliff Notes version. Snape seems like he is less antagonistic so perhaps he is trying. Looking forward to finding out more.
That was a tough occlumency lesson. It sounds like Snape was even put off balance by Harry's emotional outburst. If he had been containing his emotions, maybe it was good for him to get it out, even if it was in front of Snape.

I really enjoyed your story
I haven't really noticed. I really liked this chapy especially the end
This is one of my favorite stories. All that hard work at building trust is going to blow up when Snape kills Dumbledore! Or maybe this story isn't going that way... just letting you know someone is reading and appreciates your hard work.
I like your story very much, perhaps because it follows canon. That's the thing I liked most about this chapter. Please keep writing and updating, as I long to read on ;)
Oh, I loved how you mixed canon in with your new storyline - it was quite seamless and delightful. Thank you as ever for your attention to small details - Hermione's embarrassment, Luna's unexpected perceptiveness, Snape's precise syntax. I would have loved to see more interaction between them - the transition between Harry's instinct to kill Snape and his decision to trust Snape was perhaps a bit rushed. I was also unsure how Snape was really wandless - even though his wand was out of sight - as Harry hadn't actually disarmed him. Anyway, I'm so pleased to see that you're still updating this lovely story, and cannot wait for more. Good luck with your coursework!
I love how you are slowly breaking down Harry's mistrust in Snape, although I'm getting worried about what will happen on that day.
Please write more.
I hope for Harry and Severus to know which side each stands on when that day happens.
