Wow, that was a great chapter. This story is very engaging. I love the unique approach with Occlumency teaching. Superb detail!

Author's Response: Thank you! I am glad you're enjoying the little things; it's all in the details, after all. And if you like the Occlumency, it's going to get quite a bit stranger!

You continue to impress me with our well you portray the characters.

I hope that Harry and Snape can eventually learn to trust each other.

I don't know if I already reviewed when you first posted this, but I'm doing it now. This is very well written, and I feel like I'm reading Canon, because you keep the characters real. Very well done.

    Author's Response:

You wouldn't be the first person to have reviewed multiple times, but you will probably be the first to review every chapter, if this keeps up. And I would much rather multiple reviews than none, so by all means, keep going! Thank you for all your kind words. I do so try to keep everyone in character.

I actually like how this came across. I think it really OUGHT to be confused like this, because it's a confusing process for Harry and we are experiencing things from his POV. So don't apologize. I am going to begin tracking this story because I am very much interested in how this will go.

    Author's Response:

Ah, thank you. I was merely afraid that readers would find it too confusing; I am relieved to hear it is not so.

I like how you are "rewriting" Snape and Harry's relationship. I always wondered why Harry got over Sirius so fast. Besides, Voldemort could ask a Death Eater to break into Harry's mind.

Author's Response: Only if that particular Death Eater knows Legilimency, of course, and somehow has the opportunity to gaze into Harry's eyes. Recall that the only reason Voldemort can break into Harry's mind without eye contact is because of the scar connection.

I like it very much actually. It was interesting and I adored the interaction Harry and Snape had in this chapter. Please, continue quickly, your Melfis.

I thought the chapter was pretty cool. I enjoyed the interaction between Snape and Harry in Harry's mind. I think your characterization of Snape is spot on...he never suffers fools gladly. You did a great job depicting Snape and Harry as well as Dumbledore. Very talented!

Wow, this story is great! I'll have to go back and read the beginning though, as I'm not sure I have ever read it before!

I love your writing style and how you combine humour with seriousness. I can feel Harry's pain alongside with him, and you have really kept both Harry and Snape in characer!

I'm looking forward to reading more.

    Author's Response:

I'm so glad you're enjoying my writing! Actually, it's funny you say that, about "combin[ing] humour with seriousness". Oftentimes, I can't tell, myself, when I'm being funny (as perceived by others); I suppose this is one of those times, for the most part.

That you think my characters are in-character is a great compliment; I strive for canon consistency in all ways possible.

Thank you very much for reviewing.
