Reviews For Some Good Guys Wear Black
...... Snape: "Harry, the quickest, most efficient way to find Ginny would be to track her with my mage-hound, but I'd hate to inconvenience the dog. Let's try something else. I know, let's just try to follow the guy, completely undisguised. Oh, and by the way, you know how the kidnapper had told you to not contact the police? I guess we shouldn't have had our photos taken as we were mobbed together by all my fans yesterday outside the police office, when we were also undisguised in public. Oops!"
he loves and worries about him like he did arista I am curious though- why didn't the shifter take arista - he could have really freaked sev badly with that- with drake gone and such it could have been some time before sev found her missing but its just a thought - this way we get to really know gavin and make the comparisons to harry Loved how harry has realized snape makes an awesome guardian and dad Author's Response: Yes Gav truly is Snape's son and he freaks out about him because he cares for him so very much. Yes, the Shifter could have taken Arista, but Arista's an adult and not as easy to kidnap as a ten-year-old, she'd fight and maybe beat the Shifter at his own game, so he figured it was safer to take Gavin, less risk and an easier target. And Harry discovers alot of things he never knew about his teacher in this story.
Author's Response: I did and you'll find the rest of this fic posted today since I've finished it!
I just read A Friend in Need and I wanted to tell you that Maverick was "the bestest dog ever." Smirk, glad it happened to Griffendorks. Author's Response: Go Scout! And I'm glad you liked my Maverick story that's one of my favorites and that's why I picked the Gryffindors to get in trouble! Since everyone's always on the Slytherins' backs, it's a change of pace to have the golden lions get into hot water for once! I've got the sequel to A Friend In Need posted on FF.net called Saving Mrs. Norris, if you want to read it!
Author's Response: Hmmm . . .you'll find out soon! *smirks evilly* Sev raises an eyebrow and adds his own smirk.
Author's Response: I think you're on the right track here and, well you'll see what happens next! Thanks for your review as always!
As for your question, I think that Severus has a right to flip out. I'm not sure if he'll actually go through with a spanking, knowing what Gavin's been through; however, the kid does deserve it. Maybe if he does it the 'right' way, making Gavin understand what he did wrong and keeping the punishment controlled (like he described) it would be effective. Gavin's a smart kid; I think he'd be able to distinguish the difference between a well-deserved punishment and downright abuse. Well, anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I'm still enjoying this story a lot! I haven't had a chance to read your new one, but I promise I'll catch up soon! Keep up the fantastic writing! I hop you post the next chapter soon :) Author's Response: I'm almost done, working on the last chapter and I'm trying not to overhelm people with posting too much too soon, as well as working on my new story besides. And you're right, Gavin is smart enough to know the difference, but Severus is wary of raising a hand to him, partly because he's afraid it'll cause Gavin to mistrust him and also because he's afraid of becoming his father all over again. So I'm not sure if I'm going to have him spank his son at the end of this, but rest assured there will be consequences, and they won't be pleasant! I'm going away on vacation and don't know how much time I'll have to post, but I've got a computer with me so who knows? And I know I post really fast, that's because I write like a fiend when I'm really into my stories, don't ask me how I do it, i think I type something like 250 words a minute and when I'm really motivated I write for hours and don't stop until I fall over. I live alone at the moment and so I've got a lot of free time after work to read and write this stuff, it's addicting, and on my days off I write nonstop sometimes, no joke. I'm insane, I know. But it's my one vice, since I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs--LOL! |
