Reviews For Some Good Guys Wear Black
Author's Response: Yeah, I've always wanted to do that and I chose to make him a falcon rather than the usual snake, bat, and panther, I've seen in other stories. he always reminded me of a falcom somehow, maybe it's the nose! You'll see more of Gavin in the next chapter and Sev's really gonna flip out.
Author's Response: Thanks and yes, Gavin really is missing and in big trouble too. But well, you'll see what I'm talking about soon enough. And things are goign to start getting even more intense soon!
Also, is the story about how his leg was injured anywhere on the 'net. I read the one about how he met Amelia and then discovered his daughter and the strike against the gold dragons, but I can't find any others. Anyway - awesome story Author's Response: That's my series you've been reading and the reason why you haven't seen the part about his leg being injured is because I haven't posted that book up yet. It's called Arista Snape and the Ghost sin the Tower & I'll be posting it as soon as the last chapter of bronze dragons gets validated on HPFF. That's when you'll get the whole story about the war with Lucius and Voldemort and it's where Sev nearly dies. Second, he doesn't usually get his fangirls quite so riled up and well, you know that kind of thing happens to celebrities. And yes, I'm a member of his fan club--LOL! Thanks for your reviews!
Author's Response: Thanks and yes, now Sev and Harry have to do some real detective work!
Author's Response: Yes well you'll see why he wants the Resurrection Stone! And the cloak is with Dumbledore's body.
Author's Response: Aw that's great! Thanks for your opinion!
Author's Response: Yes I know I've stretched him a bit thin here, but he rose to the challenge as you can see. Thanks for the great review and I look forward to reading more of your story as well.
Author's Response: Aw thanks so much! I'm glad you felt so strongly about this. And yes, Ferrous deserves to be boiled in oil, grrr!
Author's Response: Yes he will and he really likes it, even if he won't admit it. Thanks so much for the review.
Oh, and the last chapter...I just remembered... I thought it was brilliant how Harry mentioned the Dursleys when they were looking in on Gavin having his nightmare.... It was subtle and Snape didn't make a big deal about it... but I'm sure he heard. Sev is quiet the observant one, I believe ;) And finally, I adore the relationship that is developing between Gavin and Harry...like brothers. It was cute when Gavin was warning Harry about the potion... "Ugh...Don't drink it Harry! It tastes gross!" I loved that line. I love Gavin. I love story. Keep it up :) Author's Response: No, Sev certainly wouldn't say no to that. As a matter of fact he does discuss his views on spanking with Harry in an upcoming chapter, stressing the difference between what he would do and what Ferrous did. And I agree with you about those other fics that have the Dursleys battering Harry into the ground, it just isn't necessary to have that level of abuse and it isn't realistic. And yes, poor Gavin is damaged both physically and emotionally but with time and Sev's help, he will eventually heal.
And yes, Gavin and Harry are like brothers and Sev is their poor exasperated father, LOL! |
