Reviews For Clear
So glad you updated. Author's Response: I was surprised by Harry's treatment, as well. I was going for shocking, something with a sudden and immediate impact that would happen before Harry even had time to adjust to his new environment. Thanks for reviewing!
Please update soon, I was so pleased to see your story there! Oh, now I'm hoping that he IS Snape's son, and that Snape rescues him! I hate Scrimgeour! Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I hope to update soon. I have already started chapter 8, so hopefully the wait won't be long.
Author's Response: Yeah, Harry's state of well-being is in great jeapardy! Thanks for your comment about the dialog. I feel like I really struggle with that. I love dialog and feel that sometimes I don't put in enough descriptive paragraphs. I like to have my characters talking and doing versus the writer describing everything in painstaking detail. Thanks for the review.
Author's Response: What? The Ministry do something illegal and/or unethical????
(It's descent, not decent) Author's Response: Oh! Thanks for the correction. I will fix that ASAP! I will never abandon a fic. This is the only one I have on P&S. I have another fic on ff.net under the same author name. It is called "Taking Back Sunday." It has been forever since I updated that one, too. If I abandon a fic, I will take it down completely rather than leaving it hanging in cyberland for eternity. Thanks for the review.
Author's Response: I know Scrimgeour is supposed to be a good guy, but there was always something about him (in canon) that I found creepy. Not sure what it was, but there you have it. I think I'm playing off that. I think it might stem from Scrimgeour wanting to use Harry to boost the image of the Ministry during book 6. He was also described as a pretty rough looking guy, almost lion-like. Thanks for reading and the review! And yes, there is bound to be some butt kicking!
Please continue writing; I'm anxious to if and when the paternity test comes back positive! Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I have not abandoned the story and I do apologize for the delay in updating. Real Life just gets in the way sometimes. I personally hate reading uncompleted stories for the fear that they won't be finished. So, thank you for reading this even though the last update was forever ago. I promise to update as soon as humanly possible.
I hope your next update is soon. Thanks for hooking me on your story. Author's Response: Yes, I think Severus hopes they are father in son, if for no other reason than to help Harry (the one who can defeat You Know Who) out of an impossibly bad situation. How is it possible for Severus to be Harry's father? I can't give that away yet! Keep Reading! Thanks for the review!
Author's Response: Thanks for the constructive criticism. I'll take a look at the dialogue you mentioned and see if it can be tweeked. I think I was sort of in a rush to finish the chapter and may not have given the end the attention it deserved. As for your other comments, yes Severus does like Draco, alot. I also think it is important for Severus and Harry to continue to be at odds for awhile longer. I don't like the stories where Severus and Harry are lovey-dovey by chapter 3. I want there to be a gradual build up to an understanding they can both live with. Thanks for reviewing! |
