i am glad they left hogwarts and I love aunt relia and I love how poppy rules her roost

    on to new adventures

Author's Response: Yes and you don't mess with poppy . . .she'll smack you one . . .just ask Severus! LOL! Aunt Relia is a very wise and loving lady, she was there for Sev as a child, and will continue to be so for them.

This is such a cute story. It's well written with heartwarming interactions between the characters. You are most likely the author on here to update their story the most quickly. (followed by Obsidian Embrace--if you haven't read her story, I recommend it!) So, keep up the great work on your story because I am enjoying it immensely! Oh, and I deeply appreciate such insanely, speedy updates, appropriate/proper grammer, easy layout, and brilliant characterizations.

Author's Response: Yes, I have read her story and it's fantastic. And I'm glad you picked up on my grammer and other things, because I'm a former English teacher and try to proof all my chapters as well as I can before posting them, because incorrect grammer and spelling mistakes drive me insane!  I love writing Harry and Sev because they present so many possibilities to show growth and change and how a good relationship can develop between people.  I've always seen Harry as a very forgiving sort of person, he's not one to carry grudges, unlike his father, which will help him accept Severus in the long run.  Thanks for the review, i really appreciate it and I should be posting some more soon, I update so frequently because I hate making my readers wait 2-3 days when they're so intent on a story.  Believe me, if I could write quicker, I would, as it is I spend 6-8 hours writing on my days off.

Harry seems to have become used to his changed circumstances very quickly, either that or he’s blocking out what happened to him remarkably well. I’m surprised he was made to do the washing up in a complete stranger’s house, though I suppose he’d think nothing of it having done chores for the Dursleys.

Yes, Severus and Remus are Latin. To me Harrison is most definitely an American name. Perhaps I’m too much of a Brit-stickler. I find myself reading fanfiction and wanting to weed out use of the word ‘gotten’, ‘pants’ instead of trousers, ‘fall’ instead of autumn, references to characters driving before the age of 17, not drinking until after 21 etc. Sometimes I think I should write a guide! That or go and lie down in a darkened room

Author's Response: Well, he still has issues, as you'll see in the next chapter.  He's still a bit shell shocked right now.  As far as the chores do, i think it perefectly natural that Severus would expect his son to help out around the house, chores teach kids responsibility, and that's what we did in my house.  Also, Sev doesn't know about the Dursleys making Harry work like a slave--he suspects, but he doesn't have details yet.  But he will in the next chapter.  As for my errors in British customs, I'm American and so I apologize for not being as up on British culture, which is one reason why I chose to set half of my story in NJ, since I'm from there and know it best.  Thanks for your comments though.

In some ways he lost his magic but in the summer underaged wizards aren't allowed to use it. I can see he's torn and you are doing a fantastic job with writing this story.

Author's Response: Right and thanks for your review, there are more discussions to come, because the issues of the past are always in the back of Harry's head.
