Reviews For Hide Yourself Away
Author's Response: Me too! LOL!
Author's Response: yes it is, but if you want you could answer it anyway!
-P.G. Author's Response: he does, but somehow things never work out for the poor kid. Or for Sev either. it's a tough decision.
again- its awesome that snape is letting harry choose and that harry has his magic and that he is mature enough to make such a choice Author's Response: Yes, because Harry understands the importance of being able to have a normal childhood--the childhood he was denied, and then found again with his dad for these life-changing six months. And Severus knows the importance of allowing Harry to make his own choices, and not be manipulated into chosing "the right path" by a prophecy.
Anyway, good chapter and I hope to read more soon. Author's Response: You will, believe me and yes, I did it on purpose! evil grin here!
Author's Response: I agree and Harry's decision won't be easy at all!
Maybe Harry should stay in the States, learn how to accurately us a Winchester, return and shoot Voldemort between the eyes. Hows *that* for a power the Dark Lord knows not! I'm sure that with all the disdain Voldie has for all things Muggle, and the fact that he himself grew up in Europe in the 1920's and '30's, he hasn't the slightest idea what a automatic gun could do with copkiller bullets. Let alone a machinegun. (God, but I sound bloodthirsty today) Author's Response: Now that's an interesting concept, blowing Voldemort away with a machine gun! I actually considered that at one point when I was writing another HP fic, but Voldemort is very cagey and like a cat, seems to have nine (or seven) lives! You're right about the prophecy though, if it is Harry's destiny to face Voldemort, then face him he will, no matter what. Dumbledore just thinks if Harry's at Hogwarts, under his eye, he's able to control him better and perhaps control the outcome of the prophecy.
I love that Severus will do whatever Harry wants and will support. A mark of a true dad, if you ask me. Brilliant as always. I think this is my favorite chapter, even if Harry chooses wrong. :oP Thanks, Snapegirl! Author's Response: Thanks so much for your support and currently I'm still up in the air about which way to go with this. Looks like so far people all want him to stay in his new home, just the way Severus wants, and Harry himself wants and I want too. But we all know how manipulative and persuasive Dumbledore is, right? He believes wholeheartedly in the whole hero's destiny concept. Question is, does Harry?
Umm... Hi!! I haven't exactly reviewed before this, er... sorry about that, but I do want to tell you how much I absolutely love this story!! I'm also completely amazed at the speed in which you post, and how consistently fantastic the quality of your chapters are!! I love the concept behind this story, that Severus and Harry are a family, and that Harry could have a chance to be a normal teenager and not a junior gladiator!! You really are an awesome writer, and I'm looking forward to more!! Scarlett Author's Response: Thanks a lot ! You're absolutely right, Harry's choice IS one no child should ever have to make, one reason why it's so terribly difficult for him, and another reason why Severus is so angry at Dumbledore. He doesn't want his son in the front lines of battle at all. Name me one parent who does! But if he does have to fight Voldy, at least Severus will be there to help, which will be a BIG surprise to Voldemort this time around. And Dumbledore as well, IF Harry returns. I'm glad you like my writing style too, and I tend to post so quickly because I write so quickly, can't help myself really! I have another novel up here as well, it's slightly different from this one, Some Good Guys Wear Black was actually written first and features an adult Harry, Ginny, and Severus, as well as Sev's adopted son. |
