Reviews For Hide Yourself Away
Author's Response: Oh yes and isn't Rosie just so hilarious!
and telling him about the mudblood thing shows he trusts him with stories about his elusive past and his mother which has got to be very hard for sev to do considering how much he misses her Author's Response: Yes, that's one of the things I like showing about Severus, that you can still lay down the law to a kid so he gets the message in no uncertian terms without beating them and his telling Harry about that incident shows how much he trusts his son and wants him to learn from his mistakes and grow up to be a good man. He also knows that Harry needs to know about his mom, even though it hurts Sev to talk about her sometimes, for his son, he will.
can you do a sequel later where sev takes her on as an apprentice or takes her to hogwarts or something - after harry is all grown and off at the auror academy? beagle rosie is cute and I am glad harry got a pet of his own from his dad Author's Response: Yes, I just might do that and you'll see Mia again for a brief appearance in Hide From a Prisoner. Rosie is adorable and based lovingly on my own beagle Rocky.
wormtail is a rat potter is not all bad - just stupid sometimes snape can be too - letting them goad him like that but if it ended up helping remus I still think lily shouldhave punched all of them - sev included LOL sev has to be having nightmares of his own knowing what harry has been through with the death eaters Author's Response: Ha, that's really funny! And I think Lily would've slugged Sev one but he'd already gotten his nose broken by Remus and was very shaken up besides, so she felt he'd already been punished enough. And yes, Sev does indeed have nightmares over what happened to his son.
Author's Response: Thanks so much!
Author's Response: Thanks and at first I did consider leaving Rosie to Mia, but then I just couldn't do it! Besides, Harry deserves to keep his dog. And yes, Rosie has an important part to play in the next sequel!
I am glad harry and sev are bonding I love that remus is their friend james and sirius especially are prats Author's Response: He certainly is, and I've always thought it just made sense for Remus to be Sev's friend, for they were both outcasts of one kind and another and Lily is the champion of the underdog. Yes, James and Sirius are immature idiots at this point.
Author's Response: Thanks very much, this chapter was difficult to write, but I'm glad I did it well and it wasn't confusing!
Author's Response: Okay and thanks for your review!
I also think its funny that after all that he still does normal parental things like wonder why his son likes a certain tv show or wants to do his homework the easy way or balks at a bedtime I thought the comment at the beginning about harry wanting to preserve himself from being murdered by his dad was funny - I am paraphrasing I know but the idea of harry confessing all to sev would likely turn the mans hair grey However I would not be surprised if he already knew so go figure LOL Author's Response: Yes, if Harry ever told him half the things he got up to with his friends, Severus would have a stroke. Then again, Severus is smart enough to guess at who was behind that particular disaster, so I don't think he'd be too shocked if Harry told him . . .when Harry was forty and safe from his parental wrath that is! |
