Reviews For Hide Yourself Away
Author's Response: I will, I should have another chapter up sometime tomorrow, if I can mnage to finish it then! And I agree with you about Remus, I always liked him and thought he got a terrible deal, much like Severus, in the books. It always made sense to me to have Remus and Sev be friends because in a sense, both of them were outcasts and Remus didn't seem the type to go in for pranking and tormenting, he always seemed more mature than James or Sirius. Also, since the Wolfsbane Potion is so complex to brew, I felt there had to be another reason other than the standard Dumbledore ordered him to for Sev to spend precious time making said potion for Remus. Of course he would do it for his friend.
Author's Response: Yup, just wait the wolf's coming! hey how did you like the chapter where Sev met Remus when he was a werewolf? It was called Sev Meets the Big Bad Wolf!
Author's Response: Yes, and this is really a transition chapter, you'll see why when you read the next one!
Author's Response: Yes, but well, he IS thirteen and god knows, at that age we all were like that! I know I was, heaven help my parents! And my thirteen-year-old niece....she'd drive me insane if I were HER mom. And yes, Sev can be quite mean LOL, but hopefully Harry will learn his lesson . . .eventually ...like maybe when he's 21? We hope! Thanks as always for reviewing :)) Lots of popcorn and Sev smiles at you too!
I've always disliked the dichotomy of Dumbledore's treatment of the students. Of course, that's one of the things that makes him such a powerful character, but still... Cheers for Snape and his decision here. Author's Response: Yes and I did too, which is why I wrote it that way! Don't you just love it when Sev gets all riled? I could practically see steam coming out of his ears while I was writing this. Yes, I'm a weird author, I visualize scenes in my head. Thanks for the awesome reviews by the way!
Time for me to scurry to the next chapter and discover more of the truth. Author's Response: Nope and just wait till you see what happens next! Yes, I made him two in this story, to allow for more bonding between child and parents!
And poor Harry. He's right in a way. His magic is the only thing he thinks makes him redeemable as a human. Now to have that yanked away. Snape is going to have quite the battle ahead of him. Author's Response: Yes, but it will work out eventually, as you will see. And Snape is a very good instinctive psychologist. Thanks for your review!
I thought Harry lost his magic, so how can he fly on a broom at all? Author's Response: He still has a remnant of it, so that's how he can still fly. Sorry about the confusion! And thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: Thanks and I love dogs so that's why most of my stories have dogs and cats in them!
Author's Response: yeah, I always loved the Crocodile Hunter. it was such a tragedy when he died. |
