Reviews For Hide Yourself From A Prisoner
I think it would be really interesting if Harry saves his own life due to having his wand under his pillow. I hope it comes in handy! -P.G. Author's Response: It just may and it certainly can't hurt. You're right, peer pressure's going to put a lot of stress on poor Harry, more than he needs.
Is Trelawney about to come up with a new prophecy? -P.G. Author's Response: Severus will never trust Dumbledore the way he used to again, not after what the old wizard did to him and to harry--no matter what altruistic motives he might have had. And rightly so. Dumbledore has the tendency to play God and treat people like pawns 'for the greater good' and Severus will never forgive him for doing so. No Trelawney has no new predictions, she just fainted from shock.
Author's Response: Thanks, I've plans for a sequel soon!
I just finished reading this -- I finished reading 'Hide Yourself Away' two days ago. I LOVED these both. I do so hope you'll ontinue the series. I'd really like to know what happens ... Does Draco return to Hogwarts (I hope not); is Peter caught ... preferably he is ... by Severus. I'd love to see Sirius' name cleared, and then once that's done ... the shifters can have their way with Pettigrew -evil grin- I do hope you'll continue ... sorry, I'm repeating myself. I'm pretty new to this site -- If I mark 'Add Author to Favorites' will that cause me to receive notification if and when you post something here? If not ... does Potions and Snitches have an Author Alert system? Thank you. Author's Response: yes, I think that's what happens when you add an Author to your favorite list. You can also add the story to your favorite list and it will alert you when a new chapter is posted. As a side note, Depression Cure is also part of the HA universe, and I'll be continuing the series as soon as I finish up DA and Shadows, the prequel to Never Again. The answers to all your questions will be revealed in later installments of the series, grins. So glad you liked this, since some reviewers were inclined to label Aria as a MarySue--ridiculous, since she's nothing like me at all and gets into just as much trouble as Harry and faces the same consequences.
Author's Response: There will be a part three, as soon as I get around to writing it. I want Sev, Harry, Remus, Aria & Neil to have an adventure in New Orleans over the summer. It should be wild and crazy! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing! :)
It was really well done. I love that you had Sev chew both Aria and Harry out. Awesome! Author's Response: Yes, I felt that both of them deserved to face Sev's wrath after what they pulled. I'm glad you liked it, some people thought Sev was too harsh with Harry.
Author's Response: Thanks, I'll admit, when I first started writing this chapter I wasn't sure how it was all going to play out, but then I just kept writing and it all came together.
Author's Response: Thanks, I too like writing Harry with a real family. If you liked this one, you could also read the little one-shot that goes along with it, Depression Cure, which I wrote in response to a challenge by Elise Malfoy. Or you could read my mega novel Heir To Prince Manor, which features a reformed Petunia, Dudley, and Draco Malfoy among other things. Or if you'd like to read something totally different, there's my other series, Never Again, featuring a six-year-old Harry and Potions Master Healer Severus and Tobias Snape in a very different alternate universe.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! I am planning a sequel to this as soon as I finish one of my other stories, Heir to Prince Manor. In the sequel Severus, Harry, and Remus and Aria and Neil all go to New Orleans (pre-Katrina) on vacation and meet all kinds of people, including vampires, werewolves, and a group of nasty voodoo priests.
Author's Response: Yes, I do have another one planned called Hide Yourself Down in the Bayou, I should start work on it soon! In the meantime, you could always read Some Good Guys Wear Black, which features an adult Harry and Ginny and a Severus spymaster working out of Manhattan. |
