Absolutely wicked story so far! I so love the fact that Harry has already defeated Voldemort & spends his last birthday at Dursleys. But then comes into his inheritance....sphinx....I've certainly never read a story like it before.
Though I do love it that Severus came in response to a sphinx cubs
distress, even when he found it was
Harry he didn't ignore his duty & responsibility. At least Severus isn't
likely to withhold information or give it to him within riddles like Albus Dumbledore. Finally Harry is going to get the care, attention & the protection that he should have always had at the Dursleys but didn't. Perhaps in time Harry, can begin to heal his emotional/mental
wounds along with Severus's. If they can both remain free of Dumbledore's manipulations. Just who sent Remus to the home of a panther clan where Harry's staying, it can have only been Dumbledore that told him...but why?
Poor Remus lol! I thought the floo system was a very clever idea and I loved the Harry/Neffy interaction

Wow, what a different story. I like this Sev. But how will he explain six years of animosity away? Is he Harry's mentor because he was first on the scene to rescue him or because he already knows Harry? What of the psychological aspects of going from an young adult back to a child--a child that suffered nothing but abuse the first time around? What of Harry's power? If a Sphinx isn't a wizard why go back to Hogwarts? How does the oh so bigoted wizarding world classify Sphinx? Beings, Creatures, something beneath them or above? How does this effect Harry's Potter inheritance which he should have received when he became an adult?
I really enjoyed this chapter, especially the way harry reacted when he wa stold he should call Severus Dad. Personally I agree with the sphinxes! I can't wait for the next chapter with Remus, he was always my second favorite character in the books.

Umm...oops. LOL. I can imagine that Severus is not too pleased right now. I wonder if Dumbledore let something, ah, "slip"? :D Looking forward to the next chapter. I check several times a day for a new update on this one. Thanks so much for the quick updating!
