Loved the chapter and I thought Severus's comments about the library were very Snape-like, especially the part about breaking Harry's neck. I liked the walking stick bit, though I'm afraid of bugs, so I'd have probably run through the wall trying to get away. That's one of the reasons I moved from Florida, too many gross big bugs! Ugh! I crushed a scorpion once on my kitchen floor, a tiny one, but still! Don't have that kind of thing in NJ.

Yeah, lucky you that you can move, I'm just an unimportant minor, and will have to remain one for a few more years *frowns. But once I go to college, I'm out of hot, gross, sticky, fat Texas!!!(and away from the bugs that inhabit it) And I agree, the one time I went to Florida, it was quite scary... especially the south... plegh, there were so many bugs. NJ is a lot better.

Nice chapter, but watch your use of accepted versus excepted. In the beginning you used excepted twice when it should have been accepted. But other than that, I enjoyed the chapter and hope for more.

I wasn't sure about this story when I first started reading, but it's grown on me. More than once I've found myself scratching my head wondering what the heck the voice is. I'm not sure if it's benign or malevolent. Or maybe neither. At any rate, good job and keep the updates coming!
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you like it. The voice will explained some time later on in the story, though I dont think it'll be what everyone expects it is. Again, thanks for taking the time to review, and I'm just now working on the next chapter since I was away this weekend and most of today, but I plan to finish and post it hopefully by thursday since this will be quite a busy week and only leaves nights and early mornings to write. -welsh
Ah, Harry sticking his nose into everything again. I can actually see Snape being like that about Harry's attempted suicide. He feels very real. Loving the story! What happened to the voice?
Author's Response: heh, i agree. Harry is probably one of the most intrusive characters in the history of literature.
i really didnt know how snape should act with harry's situation at first, but when i started writing this chapter it worked itself out. im glad i did it right and as for the voice, it's still there and will be sticking around for quite a while. Harry will be talking with it more and more in these next couple of chapters, though he wont find out what it is exactly more towards the ending of the story. thanks -welsh
