Author's Response: es, I know exactly what you mean! Glad you're enjoying this!
Author's Response: Thanks and yes Tobias is a bit of an idiot here, but he'll get better!
sigh great fic and to let you know I will read and finish all my reviews tomorrow as I have to go to work in a few mins sigh again LOL Bren Author's Response: Aw too bad, but hey tomorrow's my birthday! So it'll be a great birthday present!
Author's Response: I know, but perhaps Tobias will have a change of heart!
Author's Response: Yes, I know what you mean.
Great story Author's Response: Thanks and Sev should be waking up in, oh, another three chapters, at least that's how I have it planned.
next chapter sounds very interesting; I'm looking forward to it. One comment on this chapter: why would Harry be praying to God? Not only was Snape never portrayed as religious in canon, but Wizards aren't Christian as a rule and I certainly can't see Harry's dad picking up any religion from Tobias :) Author's Response: Thanks and actually, in canon, I found Draco exclaiming "God, Potter you're so stupid!" a few times, and JK never said that wizards don't believe in God, they celebrate Christmas and Easter, which are religious holidays. As for Sev, Tobias wasn't his only influence, he also had his mother and Dumbledore, both of whom would have stressed the idea of a loving forgiving God to him, at least in my opinion, to balance out the abuse he suffered at Tobias's hands. Anyhow, religion isn't really the main focus of this story.
Author's Response: Me too, though it won't be for a few chapters yet!
Author's Response: Thank you and I'm writing away! LOL!
Author's Response: Oh, Tobias won't kill him, he's not quite that bad, but he's a strict bastard all the same and he doesn't know how to treat a kid nicely, since he spent nearly all of Sev's childhood drunk and in a temper. So be prepared for some major blunders and tears, just warning you! |
