Reviews For Never Again!
Author's Response: Yeah this was a sweet chapter and just what they needed after being apart for so long.
Author's Response: So do I, which is why I tend to stress that point in my stories--that even though they are wizards and can do magic, they also live in the real world and do real things too! And the house rules thing is always a problem that my sister had whenever she let her kids stay with the grandparents for a week--they came home and wanted to do everything they normally weren't allowed to do--stay up late, eat snacks all day, play outside until dark--you know!
Author's Response: Awww! Me too! :)
The next chapter sounds great already and I can't wait to read it. I love this story! Author's Response: Yeah, he's based off of my nephew, who can be either really cute or a huge pain in the neck, depending on the mood he's in! LOL! I should be posting the next chapter sometime tonight! So glad you're enjoying this!
I cannot wait to see what happens btw t and s Author's Response: Oh God, you are so right! My nephew can drive a saint up the wall when he's hyper! hang tight and I should have the next chapter finished tonight! :)
P.S. I agree with your last comment, Sev has too much going on right now for a relationship, but I look forward to a sequel! Author's Response: I loved the monster game when I was little and played it with my nieces and nephews. And eventually Sev & Toby will come to some kind of arrangement, because Sev doesn't want to deprive Harry of his grandpa.
**LOL...Perfect reaction. And unfortunately, I think I hear that on a daily basis from teenagers... "You don't have to stand over me, I'm putting my phone away..." *rolls eyes* Wonderful, cute chapter. I loved it :) Author's Response: Yes, I know what you mean! When i taught seventh grade it was, okay, okay I'm putting my pager away since they didn't have cell phones back in 93! So glad you liked Sev and Harry playing!
Author's Response: God, is that ever the truth! Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, I loved that game when I was a kid!
I am rather annoyed by the callous way Severus is treated by everyone, though. The poor man just woke up from a coma and everyone is on his case about him forgiving his father. There seems to be little or no validation of his feelings whatsoever - 'well yeah, too bad your father abused you, now get over it and reconcile' seems to be the general attitude. No wonder he is rebelling against the very thought. Not to mention that Tobias obviously cannot be trusted. This time it was only a bruised cheek, who knows what will happen next time? anyway, any fic that can draw such an emotional response from readers definitely has very strong points. I think I will actually keep reading this one. Author's Response: Why thank you very much and normally I don't write much CP either, I tend to avoid it, but for this story, since one of the major themes in it is abuse vs. discipline, it was something I had to put in there. As for Severus, he is not totally unsupported in his views, his friend Matthew will stand by him now that he has learned Sev does have a valid reason for not trusting his father and so will the intern Amy Turner (who doesn't have all that big a part to play) As for the Tobias and Severus relationship, it eventually will come to some kind of resolution, but perhaps not the one either expected. Severus certainly will not become all warm and fuzzy towards him, but may eventually allow his father to see Harry while he is with him, but not alone. |
