A bored Harry is a naughty Harry.

Author's Response: Got that right, he's a typical kid!

Unfortunately, six-year-olds don't really understand a stern talking-to, so I'm pretty sure that Harry is in for a spanking. And in this situation, he deserves it, as he seems to get into a lot of trouble and is aware that he's not allowed to do these things.

I think it'll be interesting to see if Severus allows his temper to get the better of him, and in doing that will discover he's retained some of his father's bad habits.

Perhaps a couple days in his room without any toys will teach him a lesson as well. Boredom can be a pretty effective punishment.. lol.

Author's Response: Yup, is that ever true!  And you have to take all the fun things out of the room BEFORE you send the kid to it, otherwise they'll play and it won't be a real punishment.  My sister learned that the hard way when she used to send her son to his room when he was bad and he'd look at her and say ,"Okay, Mommy." and wouldn't act like he was upset.  Then she found out he was playing and having a good old time in his room for hours instead of thinking about why he was being punished!

    LOL

no park for mr harry today and methinks a spanking is a coming

and lord knows whatever else sev wants to do to teach the boy to control his impulses and what real boredom is like

    sigh
    kids I say

    KIDS

Author's Response: Yes, kids can and do drive you up the wall some days.  My mother used to say about us--somedays you want to hug your kid to pieces and other days you want to throttle them, depending on what they've done.  And some days you want to run away and commit yourself to the nearest asylum! LoL!

MAN OH MAN! There's something to be said for little kids and trouble--they go hand in hand and no kid can be perfect. I always hate stories where the kid is perfectly well-behaved, because no real kid ever is, and the only place you can find one of those is in fiction! Can't blame Sev for being mad, since Harry knew better, but they'll work it out.

Author's Response: I know exactly what you mean!

Uh oh. I know what I'd do to mine if I caught him doing what Harry was doing. But that's typical of a little kid, they usually do what they're not supposed to, it's part of growing up.

Author's Response: God help them, you're absolutely right!

Dun dun DUN! Oh Harry, what have you gotten yourself into? *shakes head* Little kids are like that, they get bored and don't listen, then wind up getting themselves in quite a fix. Sev will probably ground him for quite some time, but I wouldn't blame the guy if he spanked Harry in this instance. Frankly, he'd disserve it for disobeying and putting himself in danger. Ah well, even the sweetest of kids can't be angels all the time.

Can't wait for your next chapter! And I find it really great that you update everyday ^^.

Author's Response: Thank you and I should have the next one up sometime tonight, and you're right about the kids, no kid is an angel, and even though Harry is very sweet, he does get into trouble just like any other kid!

wow, finally caught up. Oh my goodness is all I have to say. I'm really not sure what Severus is going to do with Harry after that. He catches him in the lab a place that Harry knows he has no business being in, in the first place. Playing with what I'm sure are expensive and somewhat volatile ingredients when mixed together, with a knife in one hand and broken glass at his feet. I know what I'd do to him, but I'm not Sev. I'm sure a few long lectures among other things and one very unhappy Harry is going to be the end result of the next chapter. Can't wait to see what happens, keep up the great work and please please update again soon. LES

Author's Response: Thanks so much and I love your reviews by the way!  And you're right about Harry being unhappy in the next chapter, actually Sev won't be very happy either.  I should have the next chapter posted sometime tonight and man, i guess people are getting very involved in this story based on the number and kind of reviews I've been getting!

Oh, poor Harry! But he was being very bad, and probably gave Sev a heart attack when he saw him, so poor Sev too.
I love this story, so please don't leave me waiting too long to find out what happens to dear Harry. (I don't even know why I say that, you're like the fastest updater on here.)
    -Elise

Author's Response: Thanks Elise and you won't be waiting too long, I should have the next chapte rp[osted by tonight say nine or ten o'clock maybe, so check back then.

Oh, poor Harry, I feel really sorry for him though he was really naughty. I was always mad when something kept my father out of my bedtimes stories and walks ! Hey, that's HIS father after all ;-)

Author's Response: You're right and unfortunately that's life, sometimes it does intrude on plans, although Sev never said he wouldn't take Harry to the park, he just had to wait until he was done talking.
