Wow that was a really creative punishment. I’m glad that Sev sat down and spoke to Harry before so he understood exactly what he did wrong and then showed him that he was totally forgiven after. Harry knows very well that he deserved what he got... and he knows he is still loved
Author's Response: Yes, he does and I actually got the idea for that punishment from something the Amish in PA do to discipline their children or erring members of their community. They call it shunning and it works much like the punishment Severus gave only for much longer and it is only given out in extreme cases.
