Reviews For Never Again!
Author's Response: Oh yes they did, like a fish needs water! LOL! And the poison ivy thing was something that happened to my nephew once also. :) 0)
Author's Response: Thanks and I love how you review all my chapters! LOL!
I'm super glad you had the Weasleys, they are truly awesome! They’re just loads of fun. I love little Ron, I want to steel both him and Harry, hehe. It's sweet that Molly looks to Sev like a little brother, she's a great, caring person. The fishing scene was really funny, I just KNEW Harry was going to beat them! lol. Harry is such a silly, hyper little bugger. It’s really great that Tobias and Severus have put the past behind them and are finally getting along like a real family should. The interaction between them and Harry is the best ^^. I adored the tickle scene, reminds me of my dad when my sister and I were little. Can't wait for your next chapter! I enjoy reading this story a lot. P.S. Oh no, the return of the evil Death Eater! Blast them all to heck and back >< how dare they threaten Sev's family?! Author's Response: Yeah me too, so long as they behave! :) I love writing the Weasleys, they're just plain wholesome fun and Sev needs a big sister. The fishing scene was inspired by some of my family vacations as a child, we always went either camping or fishing or skiing and we always had the best time, although some very funny mishaps occurred on those trips too! And I love tickling my nephews to death! 0)
My eyes are still watering as I type this! This chapter was filled with such strong, heartbreaking emotions, you captured them beautifully. I could completely understand and feel what Severus was feeling as if I were there, and it really broke my heart. The poor child! (and man) That was just awful, truly awful. I am extremely glad Tobias finally understands his son's misery, but like Severus, it's bittersweet. The ending was such a beautiful moment! I loved how Sev was all awkward and realized he felt something for his dad other then bitterness and so tried to comfort him, and how Tobias was just so disbelieving. My favorite part was when they embraced, because they really, really needed to comfort each other and let the pent up emotions out. Brilliant and beautiful work! I love it. (Strange thing to say, considering it was so sad, lol.) P.S. I would have posted this sooner, but my web was down. Now, I'm off to read your next chapter! Author's Response: Ah, well I DID warn you! I'm a sucker for emotional reunions and stuff! Although writing those flashbacks was really heartbreaking and I had to stop a few times to wipe my eyes. But that was the only thing likely to show Tobias exactly what Sev had endured at his hands and convince him for good and all to change and to never ever touch a drop of beer again. And the last part was my favorite too, forgiveness and reconciliation are so important!
i tried to review the last chap but it kept telling me my password and code were wrong last chap made me cry and this one laugh I love this story and how they are all healing together Author's Response: Thanks, Bren! Both of these chapters were very emotional, but for different reasons. And just wait till the next one!
Author's Response: Thank you and I hope you enjoy the next one also! :)
i hope the aurors prove useful in the next chapter, otherwise i'm sacking them Author's Response: The Aurors will be in the next chapter, though not as much as you'd think. And I loved the fishing trip too and tickling Harry was very evil-haha! But it worked!
Author's Response: Thank you, I try to keep it as authentic as I can, but sometimes I'll make a mistake because I'm an American and don't know some details, but spelling I do know, since I'm a former English teacher.
Author's Response: Glad you're enjoying this, but I didn't know about the poison ivy bit, I'm from New Jersey, so I might give a short explanation about why it was there, since I don't want to have to alter that whole scene--it's too cute. Thank you for the information.
Author's Response: Yes, that was one of my faves too--and something that was totally unplanned, by the way! |
