Loved this...and aren't you a clever little dickens to come up with THAT scenario. Brill! I would never have guessed that you had that up your sleeve. But how wonderful for Remus...well, it will be when he gets over his shock. And he can't surely think that Tonks won't have him back, as it was he who broke off with her. And I aagree with HArry...Tonk's parents need a swift kick up the Kyber Pass! One would think that Andromeda Tonks might have had enough experience of exactly what prejudice can do! Remus the man is worth a thousand of most men. They should have gotten to know the real REmus Lupin before passing judgement. I hope Tonks is giving them a seriously hard time. Poor Remus; I seriously love that guy. He is definitely my favourite MArauder. What do you think JK has against us that she killed off our two favourite adult characters? Ginny..hmm, this is a bit deep. She is worried that Harry wasn't entirely himself, I suppose. Does she think that the REAL Harry wouldn't have wanted to snog her senseless anyway. IS she worried about how far they went...just how far did they go? Heehee. I hope everything is all right on the Harry/Ginny front. And why is Sev so far away. Post traumatic Stress Disorder, if you ask me...perhaps that's what is wrong with all of them. Can't wait for Sirius to wake up. I wonder if he will even care that his old friend is no longer a were-wolf or will he be too caught up in his indignation to focus on anything else. Poor Remus seems to think that he might have lost Sirius's friendship. Oh, the possibilities... I am officially in 'waiting impatiently' mode. LesleY~ Author's Response: Remus is definitely in shock. Hasn't really realized what this will mean for him. Well, in the case of Andromeda's parents, it's really not a case of prejudice, so much as worry for their daughter. I mean, it'd be pretty hard to take if my daughter (if I had one) decided to marry a werewolf! LOL It's a hard life for Remus a wolf, and I think Tonks' parents are just concerned for their welfare. You'll have to wait and see how far Harry and Ginny went. They are up soon. Sev is pondering...things. You'll have to wait and see that as well. LOL Sirius is up soon as wel. :o)
How absolutely fantastic for Remus if the lycanthropy is gone for good! He certainly deserves to catch a break. He's had such a hard life, poor guy, and for the most part he's handled it with good grace. I do think he was wrong to break up with Tonks, but I can understand why he did so. It would be almost overwhelming for him, knowing how much discrimination there is against werewolves and that he was in danger of losing his job. Then to also know that Tonks' parents were not supportive of the relationship...well, it would be easy for Remus to believe that she's better off without him. I can't wait to see more of those two, though. Well, it sounds like they've all got some adjusting to do, poor guys, but at least we've got the good news about Remus. I'm looking forward to learning more about the Veil cured him. Well, I'm just looking forward to more of everything, lol!
Boo on Scrimgeour (sticks tongue out at nasty creep). Now, Poppy, please, follow them down to the room, tie them up and pour the sleeping potion down their throats. Severus will probably make sure Harry sleeps but will think that he is just fine and doesn't need anything. I can provide the rope, Poppy. And Remus, don't you worry, I am sure that Tonks is plotting ways to get her engagement ring back on her finger. But, since you were trying to be noble when you broke up with her, she will want a bigger ring. In other words, as Tonks might say "It is nice that you wanted to be noble but don't be noble at my expense. Just remember, my mother was a Black." |
