Great chapter! I'm glad that Harry an Severus are taking a holiday together, they need it.

Augh, I should've known the conversation between Sirius and Harry wouldn't go well. And poor both of them. There sure are a lot of hurt feelings going around.

One thing I'd like to point out is at the beginning. It reads: "...as soon as he was aware that they were no longer at the Ministry..." and then goes into a lengthy scene without any indication to the setting.

I was just thinking that it would be a good idea to mention *where* they Apparated to, because the reader is left wondering this until Sirius goes into the kitchen to get drinks.

Anyhow, I am enjoying the read. I love that Harry asked Severus for the headache potion. Progress! Oh, I also love how Severus has a total list of things they need to discuss! Haha, that is so awesome!

    Moving on! :-)

Poor Remus but he's brought it on himself really he should have talked to Tonks and told her what had happened. So true that men often need poking with a big stick to discuss their feelings.
I can't think where you have sent Harry and Severus for their holiday, somewhere quiet and relaxing to discuss the never ending list perhaps? Good chapter as always.

    Author's Response:

Yeah, Remus should have.  But unfortunately, he believed he'd mucked things up pretty royally, and as Sev and Harry talked about in an earlier chapter, Remus doesn't really have the best self-esteem. Thanks Fluff!  And yes, somewhere relaxing, for sure.  :o)

What caused everyone to apparate to Grimmauld Place? Was this some prearranged plan, or habit from the years of fighting Voldemort? Also, did you want the reader to be in the dark about where everyone went? It is many paragraphs into the chapter before the destination becomes clear.

" 'And the Death Eaters weren’t in the hall during the trial. Scrimgeour insisted they be kept back until it was over,' [Mr Weasley] explained." This is confusing. Where were the death eaters, then, when chaos broke out? Wasn't Malfoy's trial already underway then? And weren't the death eaters returned to Azkaban before the trial resumed with just Scrimgeour and cronies?

Very believable how Sirius can't even apologize to Harry without somehow making him upset again, though Harry seems as responsible for this as Sirius. The interaction among Harry and his friends is very well done - playful and close - shows the longevity and depth of their relationships. Harry's tossing Sirius' letter into the fire is quite typical; act first, think later. Severus used to berate him for it (hopefully still does on more weighty matters), but can't help but shield Harry from his own impulsiveness here. The idea of an agenda of holiday discussion topics is wonderful.

Where do they go? Severus should take Harry back to his childhood home sometime, especially now that his mother is gone from it, but that wouldn't make for much of a holiday. In short - no idea.

    Author's Response:

Yep, I meant you to remain in the dark for a bit there, wondering where they'd gone.  As Snape says later, he and Sirius had some eye contact, and since Severus knew he would take Ginny to GP, he went there as well.  And the other Weasleys saw Sirius take Ginny and assumed as much as well.  And Remus has really nowhere else to go, except maybe to Sev's little secret cottage.

Mr. Weasley simply meant, they weren't in the trial, but broke through the doors in the pandemonium...meant to show the suspciousness of everything that happend.  I could make that clearer, though.  Thanks.  And then yes, they were returned before the resuming trial.

Harry is responsible for what happened this time.  He wasn't really listening to Sirius.  his emotions are too raw right now.  They need to talk when Harry is calmer.  Glad you enjoyed Harry with his friends.  That was fun to write.  And yes, I enjoyed writing Severus' needing an agenda to make sure he went through everything.  He really WAS listening that night to everything Harry said, and really does want sort things out.

Well, they have a few sites planned, so you'll just have to wait and see.  Thanks for the review!

Aw, you always leave off at the good parts. You did it again, an amazing chapter.

I bet they went to the seaside somewhere, but where? Hmmm, don`t know. Update soon so we can find out.

Author's Response: Thanks Pandora!  I'll be as swift as I am able.  Glad you enjoyed it.  :o)
