Reviews For Lily's Charm: The Gift
What are Harry and Sirius going to do? I know that Harry wanted to talk or at least clear the air with Sirius, but it's one thing to want to do something and quite another to actually do it. Especially when you weren't expecting to have to do it for a long time. If that makes any sense. ;-} I loved how Harry now looks (at least a little bit) more like Sev. I really loved the whole "love potion bit". I always love seeing Severus being more paternal and parental about Harry. ;-} I loved Ginny's reaction to Sev finding out about the potion. ;-} The other part I liked was "Miriam the Autograph Witch". I was laughing so hard I was almost crying. Again, superb job. This is truly an incredible story. Leilia
I've been reading your work for a quite a while now (specifically the 'Lily's Charm Series') and I think it's absolutely amazing!! So Harry and Severus are back at school now. Well, all good things must come to an end, lol. Excellent part about the love potions, too. I particularly loved Ginny and Hermione being so fierce, but that poor girl won't know what has hit her after Severus is through. Looking forward to more!
One thing never made sense to me, though, about the classes at Hogwarts. In a situation like Harry's vacation, for example, if Flitwick was teaching Remus' classes, who was teaching Flitwick's? Charms and Defense (and Potions, etc.) are taken at minimum by the first 5 years, pairwise by house judging from JKR's books. This means 10 class groups of each subject, a very full schedule for just one teacher. Author's Response: Oh, I'm sure the teachers all help out...Dumbledore is there as well, don't forget. And as for not planning for Remus's non-wolfishness to be proven, I think a nice thick strand of memory into a Pensieve from both Sirius and Remus will do nicely. I am also going with the assumption that Remus never offered his blood up for verication to authorities. Who actually has proof that Remus is a werewolf, save Dumbledore and company? Every one else has suspicions and heresay. All Remus needs is a nice blood test to prove he's not, should he choose to allay all fears in the matter
I am SO DARN HAPPY that Sirius came to be with Remus. *hugs ya* But man, that was an evil cliffie. Wow, I hope he and Harry can iron some things out for both of their sakes. Something I will mention that the other two didn't is the choice of words Severus used to Harry when discussing situations like the time turner incident: "You are not to do it. Not without consulting with myself or Remus." Wow, that says bushels about the importance Severus gives Remus - that his advice is equally trustworthy. And signing her boobs...ROFLMAO. Severus spewing anger lava and heading to the infirmary. Oh, gosh...there's a lot of GOOD imagery in this one! And yay Remus - you're cured! A very well played transition off the holiday, my dear. Can't wait to see what's lurking out there next.

Oh, I'm so happy Sirius came to be with Lupin. I really hope that Sirius and Harry will finally work out their differences! I love Sev's reaction to Elizabeth's plans. Silly girl messing with Harry, when protective Snape is around...Merlin help her! :) You really know how to end a chapter, don't you! That just means that we'll all be bugging you till you update again! ;) Author's Response: He was supposedly cured, but he wouldn't accept it until he went through a full moon--unscathed, so to speak. Poor Tonks. I so hope that she and Remus can forgive and forget. I can see both points of view...I can understand why Remus didn't tell her straight away about his (perhaps) changed life, just in case it didn't happen. They would be so good for each other and Remus has to know that she does love him, As he loves her. I nearly fell off the couch laughing when Miriam thrust her lace covered breasts into HArry's slack-jawed face. Sev's payback was good, but I think I would have put an inflating charm on those boobs that would last a couple of days before wearing off...see how much she likes a pair of knockers the size of Mt Vesuvius. I mean, enlarge them until she wouldn't be able to eat comfortably because they would get in the way, not to mention that she would have no clothes to fit her for a while. I wonder if Miriam still has a boyfriend. Little trollop! Do you think she knows that HArry is only sixteen? And if Sev's solution doesn't work, sic Ginny on her! Loved Ginny and her anger...detention didn't have the desired effect really, did it...she was still absolutely ropable. Don't blame her. If her man had taken that potion, she would have lost him forever. And how desperate is Elizabeth? I mean, did she know that the potion was illegal? She must have, because I doubt that she got the recipe for such a dangerous potion out of the library. Where did she get it? Ginny is such a little spitfire. Harry had better always be a good little boyfriend. LOL. Loved Sev's protectiveness of Harry and his obvious worry of what could still be lurking out there. Noticed our wonderful potions master wasn't in the least little bit interested in the bounty on display in the main street of Hogsmeade...forever faithful to the memory of Lily. Loved it. Loved the whole chapter. As usual. Les. Author's Response: Yep, Sirius came through. Of course he did. He stayed in the shack with Remus. They just exited through the tunnel. Of course Remus knows she loves him, but as Severus said, he's trying to protect her. It all sort of came crashing down when he 'lost' his job right after Voldemort's defeat. But we'll see how it goes. LOL Poor crazy Miriam. I was thinking she wasn't much older than Harry...like a year or so, so it's not so crazy that she'd have a little thing for Harry. And yes, overprotective Severus is very, very fun to write. Nah, detention didn't really do much good, except to make Ginny a whole lot angrier. LOL Hey, Hermione found illegal recipes before so I figured Elizabeth could too, if she was desperate enough. LOL And no, Severus was more concerned with plotting a nice way to hex the harlot to pay too much attention to her breasts--she was a bit too young for him anyway. Glad you liked it, Les!
