Author's Response: I figured that in a binding magical contract, using the right name would be important. I also figured that Ron's basic problem was that he felt overshadowed again, like he has all his life, while Draco doesn't have those hangups. Besides, being a Slytherin, I figured Draco would neither expect Harry to hold back if he wanted to put his name in, nor to share the info on how to do it. Ambition, you know?
