You're a good storyteller and taking the reader through it comes with apparent ease to you (a practiced hand in writing, I daresay?), though in itself (the plot, that is) it's rather cliche-ridden and reminds forcibly of a soppy family film scenario. Otherwise, I enjoy reading your works. Well, honestly, who doesn't love fairy-tales, even if they're too good to be true? ;)

Author's Response: If you've read the previous book in this series, Never Again, then you'll know that Severus and Harry have been through much trauma and angish to get to where they are in this sequel.  I felt that it was time for them to have, especially for Severus to have, the happy ending he deserved.  After all, Harry was given his own happy ending in DH, and Snape wasn't.  This then, is my version of a different life for both of them, the life that could have been, but wasn't.  Sorry if you don't like sappy family stories.  I get tired of writing the grim bitter spy after awhile, but if you're looking for something more traditonal, read The Heir To Prince Manor.

This story was great, but can you put more of severus's mother eileen prince snape.

Author's Response: I may have a short story or two featuring her since I wanted a chance to develop her character a bit more.  Thanks for reviewing and check out the prequel, Where Shadows Go, it features Lily as well as Severus and small Harry.
