Reviews For Growing Pains
Author's Response: Thanks very much. I have another series posted here as well called Hidden Away, and another full length novel with a grown Harry and Ginny and Severus as a spymaster in NYC called Some Good Guys Wear Black. You could read those if you haven't already, I have plans to write another sequel for Hidden Away.
Author's Response: Yes, I know you're used to Sev and Alaina, but there's actually a lot of interesting backstory about Severus and Lily that I'd like to go into, things I'v ementioned but never really elaborated on, and of course Harry at two is a trip and a half, or at three or four as well. And the sequel, I just don't know about yet. Thanks for your reviews.
Wonderful story I loved it from the very beginning to the last !. I would love for another sequel, maybe when Harry and Lexy enter Hogwarts. But the only problem I have is that with Harry and Lexy being at Hogwarts Sev, Alaina and Eileen wouldn’t be there; unless Sev gets tired of long unpredictable hours at the hospital and Albus offers him the potions master job at Hogwarts and/or adds a class for NEWT students in healing practices – then the entire family could move – including Inky Hagrid definitely wouldn’t mind even though Inky would stay in the Snape’s apartment – Alaina would make a wonderful muggle studies teacher, lots of house elves to baby sit (I could see a lot of mischief for a little three year old in a magical castle – especially one who has a big brother and sister and Uncle Al always covering for her LOL). Instead of Volde being the big bad guy it could be the Council of Threttan, through Sanguinius they realize that Harry and Lexy are powerful wizardlings who could be used and sacrificed to bring about some apocalypse or something. I don’t mind the prequel but I would forever be reminded that Lily would die in the end so it would be a romantic tragedy. Looking forward to your other stories as well – another plug for Hide Away Thank you for your story it certainly made many of my evenings brighter Author's Response: Yes, that could definitely work for a sequel, thanks for the great ideas. As for the prequel, I've already thought of a title for it called Where Shadows Go, it would be a real bittersweet tearjerker for me to write, but I think there's a really good story in there and the moments with mischievous toddler Harry would hopefully balance out the tears. And I'll work on Hide Yourself Down in the Bayou soon as I finsih Heir to Prince Manor.
Ideas for sequel? Trip somewhere foreign; visit to the ZOO again; trip to the Lexy s grandparents; meeting with Draco; Lexy wanting a pet; death of Grangers and adopting Hermione (morbid, I know). Author's Response: Yes but I'm the queen of happy endings! draco might be interesting to throw into the mix, wonder what he'll be like now that Lucius is dead, hmm? Thanks for the reviews!
Other than that little slip-up, fantastic story! Can't wait for the rest. Author's Response: Whoops, you're right, gotta go fix that. Thanks and please keep reading!
I would read ANYTHING you write! You have an amazing gift for storytelling. Author's Response: Aww, that's such a great cimpliment!! Thank you very much! I've got another couple of stories and a different series up here if you want to read them, I think they're jsut as good as this one, but with an older Harry.
Author's Response: You know, so would I!
Author's Response: It really would and you're not the only one who has suggested that plot line. Thanks for reviewing and I'm glad you liked it so much.
Author's Response: yes, I'd have many interesting scenarios with Harry, Lexy and Eileen. Poor Sev could be driven crazy! LOL!
Author's Response: All right and I'm getting ideas for the prequel now! |
