Does Dumbledore ever think of anyone other than pawns, does he ever think of the individual. Sev should go with Harry, stay with him. Forget about the Order and Dumbledore. Sev almost died, he barely got away and now Dumbledore wants him to go back - will he only release Sev when he's dead - he's doing the same to Harry. The only way Harry should go back to his aunt and uncle is if Sev is with him - even with the changes. It might do a world of good for Dudley if Sev goes back, but Petunia needs to take charge of that household without Sev being there. Sev may not need to “kidnap” Harry from his aunt and uncle as Petunia will allow him to go with Sev willingly and will actually help them, but Sev needs to kidnap him away from the Order’s influence
Maybe they could hide out in the Chamber of Secrets or some Secret unplotable manor, but Harry and Sev need some father/son bonding time to get to really know one another without meddlesome old coots and order members
Author's Response: I agree and don't worry, Sev will find a way to take harry away and make sure his son is not used as a pawn in DD chess game with Voldemort. And at this place they will finally bond as father and son.
That is absolutely disgusting that Dumbledore would send him back with only an anti-abuse spell to help him. I look forward to reading more of your story.
