I’m so glad that Severus revealed the truth to Dumbledore. I wonder why he would keep Harry’s new middle name though, as Dumbledore has done so wrong by both Harry and Severus. I liked seeing this protective version of Snape towards both of his boys.

I think this is one of my most favorite chapters of all time.
I love how excited Draco was when Sev came for him, and his nickname, Dragonet!
Also I love the confrontation between Sev and Albus. Albus needs to be told to shove off from time to time. You wrote that brilliantly!

I loved Severus telling off Dumbledore! It's great how he doesn't let the Headmaster intimidate him. I can't wait to find out what happens when Harry and Draco meet!
Author's Response: Nope, not this Snape. Especially when it comes to his son and his ward. Harry and Draco meeting . . .just wait and see it's gonna be very tense and kind of explosive.

Ooh, thank you for the Campbell reference *snickers* More than once, thinking on HP canon, I thought how much more appropriate mythologically would be Harry turning out to be Severus' son, because James.. although powerful, well, dunno, just doesn't quite cut it on the myth-required-parent-awesomeness scale *g*
Author's Response: Yes, you're right. It makes more sense fo Severus to be Harry's dad in mythology terms, he is an amazingly strong wizard, mysterious and interesting, and both he and Harry had similar troubled childhoods, always a plus when you are talking about the reluctant hero, plus Severus is the redeemed hero besides. James is almost like the pampered prince in the fairy tales who needs to be taught a sharp lesson in how to treat others with respect, considering what he was like in school--a bully. And while he redeemed himself in death, it just seemed . . .I don't know . . .too cliche or something. I never really liked James in canon, he didn't have enough depth, and I found him annoying. I have always admired Severus however and think he will be a great father for Harry.

OMG!!!!!!!!! I just found this story and I love it. Especially how you brought Joseph Campbell into it. ROFL. Okay, now the world knows I am a nerd. Great story!

Just wanted to say that the prophecy is void, anyways, because if Snape and Lily were Harry's parens, then together they probably stood up to Voldy more than three times, like the prophecy said.
Author's Response: yes, that's true, but Dumbledore will beat the prophecy angle to death before he gives up.

Yeah! You tell em Sev! Tell that meddling old...where he can go shove it! I loved that conversation! And I also liked how Harry and severus talked before Severus went to get draco.
