Great chapter here - you did a brilliant job of describing how badly the nightmare affected Harry, and the Dragons Wild game with the playing for privileges/chores made a lot of sense XD

Author's Response: Thanks this chapter was very difficult to write, I nearly scared myself writing it, if you can believe that! And my family used to do the same thing as Severus when we played poker as children, instead of playing for money.

    I wanna play dragons wild!

    and that dream sounded horrific!

thank merlin sev was there to help!

    Author's Response:

So do I. I've had requests to make it into an actual game.  I wonder if that's possible online? It'd be very cool! And yes, the nightmare was awful, but it did enable Harry to release some much needed emotions and for Severus to comfort him and Draco to realize that Harry isn't the pampered celebrity he thought.  So there was both a positive and negative side.

BTW, I read the rest of your PR story and it was awesome!!

Wow, fantastic chapter. Dragons Wild sounds really interesting, I want to play now, and the note idea is awesome, did you guys make it up for the story or have you actually played poker using that? I think it's a great idea, and adds a different sort of fun onto the game. If I had to pick the world's most awful nightmare, that one would take the prize, how on earth did you come up with one so scary? Love how the relationships between Harry, Severus and Draco are growing. Speaking of relationships, are we going to see little baby owlets in the future, or are they just friends? Good job guys, keep up the good work.

    Author's Response:

Thanks so much! The note idea is an actual thing that I used when my family and I played poker for fun when I was a kid.  My dad didn't want us to gamble for real, so he said we could use IOU's for privileges and chores instead of money.  it worked great, we all had fun and got to win ourselves a day or two of fre chores!

The nightmare--ah I scared MYSELF when I wrote that.  I don't know where I come up with these things, honestly.  i don't even like to watch horror movies.  As for the owls....you never know!

I absolutely adore this story, and I'm really enjoying Snape trying to father these very different young men! Good job!

Author's Response: aww, you're sweet and I'm glad you're enjoying Snape's attempts to parent both Harry and Draco, it ain't easy!

that chapter was great, dragons wild sounds like a great card game and you should start a card making factory and make thousands of pounds, harrys dream was indeed traumatic, james was wrong, it was lily who lied to him not harry

Author's Response: Wow, wouldn't that be something if I could do it!  And yes, it was Lily who lied to James, but in the dream Harry's subconscious is trying to tell him something about guilt and loss, you'll find out more about the dream next chapter!
