Reviews For The Heir to Prince Manor
Author's Response: You're not the only one! I would have thrown a party if I could've! He's one of my least favorite characters. And yes, Draco's finally getting a clue!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, I'm very pleased with this one. I tried to add some new details into Harry's background instead of the usual ones, and I wanted Draco to see the contrast between the way Snape punishes them and the way Harry was punished...the one is fair, disicpline, and it is finite, the other is cruel, abuse, and never ended until Sev came to Harry's rescue.
Author's Response: Thank you, I do hope you'll like the next one too.
Author's Response: Funny, isn't it? And then when we're old--like seventy-something or whatever, and we can take naps whenever we want, sometimes we do and sometimes we don't, even though they now say that sleep is essential for your health. I believe it. I always feel worse without a decent night's rest.
Your updating fast. cool. thankyou. loved the surprise and looking forward to seeing a kin-sa-dor lesson Author's Response: Thanks, I try and not make my readers wait too long, otherwise they forget what happened in the story and have to go back and re-read it again. Granted I don't mind it if you'd like to read it again after it's done, but sometimes if you take too long to update, people might lose interest. The kin-sa-dor lesson should be interesting and so will Sev's talk.
Author's Response: Yes. Severus can be very sneaky and clever! The boys sure aren't up to his level yet. It seemed like a nap was a good reward, considering all of the work they'd just done. Hope you enjoy the next one!
Author's Response: Thanks, Amy! You made my day! *hugs and chocolate frogs*
Forgive me for my short review but 1) I'm tired and 2) I have to finish writing chapter 3 of Breaking Dawn. I take my leave for now. Yours, Lady Jewels Snape. ::waggles fingers:: Toodles. Author's Response: *smirks* Thought you might like it! :) And Draco's loving it, of course! Like a typical teenager....anytime they can sleep...it's like they've won the lottery. Actually, that's what my 16 year ood nephew said to me one day, "If I ever win the lottery, I 'll be so glad because I won't have to work and I can sleep all day long." LOL! So take Sev's advice.....Julie...and take a nap! After you finish your chapter of course, I'll have to read it when I've got time. I'm insane when I work on a fic, I work until I drop...once I fell asleep with my head on the keyboard. LOL! Bye! Snapegirl
Author's Response: Great, I had hoped it would be interesting to go back and see their pasts and not boring. I feel that each of them has things they need to live down and also live up to, and lessons they can teach each other. For that's what a family does, teaches and learns from each other.
They are coming along nicely. Author's Response: Ohh, yes! I remember when I was a kid, my parents had Saturdays set out for us as clean the house and the backyard each week, and we really DID clean the whole house, from top to bottom and then we went outside and raked the leaves or mowed the lawn and swept the patio and cleaned up after the dogs. I can remember thinking how unfair it was, because none of my friends had to do that, but now that I look back, I can thank my parents for showing me the value of a job well done and how to finish what I start. Chores are important for a child, which is why I have Severus using them both as punishment and as a teaching tool. I think Draco benefits the most from them, however, since he was never made to do any growing up. But Harry understands his dad's reasoning as well, and Draco can learn from his example. And it's nice to see them acting like brothers instead of trying to kill each other, huh? |
