Smidgen is a great character, and I’m looking forward to seeing Sarai ahead! Draco apologizing shows how far they’ve come.

I need to add you to my favorite authors because I love your stuff and I'd like to meet Sarai, but as you've finished the fic, my opinion is kinda mute, isn't it?

It will be interesting to see Smidgen work with Harry in his dreams. I really like the fairy cat. I hope she appears a lot more. I love learning more about the fae world. Great chapter!

Author's Response: She'll be in this story and the sequel a lot. I just love Smidgen!

Yay the shimmerling lives! I love her she's awesome! I'm happy she can help Harry with his nightmares. And yes, I'd love to meet Sarai.

Author's Response: Great and you'll be meeting Sarai in another couple of chapters.

Okay, a few questions. Since your writing has been so very entertaining, I'm going back here to ask, not having written down the chapter from whence springs my questions.

    First: What's a gea?

Second: Severus didn't want Harry to tell anyone about their newly discovered familial relationship. But Harry had already written Ron, Hermione & Sirius.
Isn't he going to be angry?

    Entertaining story!

    Author's Response:

A geas--that's Celtic--is a word for a oath or a spell of compulsion, it's used a lot in Celtic myths and legends.  In this case, the Titania places it upon her messengers to ensure that they cannot lie, a useful trait in a messenger.  A geas could sometimes be used as a punishment, in one of the Celtic myths, the King of Ireland's High Druid placed a geas upon a proud warrior to humble him and made him thank everyone who did him a favor for a year, including people like servants and slaves, and do them a favor in return.

As for the last one, Severus did tell Harry he could write to his friends and he assumed he would tell them of his newly discovered relationship, he really didn't want Dumbeldore knowing just then, because he wanted to find out the old man's motives.  He doesn't know about Sirius yet, so he might be a little ticked off when he finds out, but otherwise he understands Harry's need to share this revelation with Ron and Hermione.

Yep, I want to meet Sarai. She sounds interesting... and I get the feeling that there's a little more between her and Sev than just a teacher/student relationship. Is it romantic or motherly type? :;puts on fake beard and rubs chin thoughtfully:: Hmm...

Again, an amazing chapter. I love the little shimmerling! She's adorable and has a personality that's all her own! I enjoy reading her. ::bows before Snapegirl::

    You are a goddess!

    Ok, onto the next chapter.

::sidles out the door whistling high-ho, high-ho, it's off to work -- no the next chapter -- we go::

    Author's Response:

You really are hilarious, Julie! :) And you'll be meeting Sarai in another five or six chapters, I think.  She does have more than just a teacher relationship with Severus now, though a long time ago that wasn't the case.  You'll see when she arrives at the manor, she has a way of showing up unexpectedly and surprising Severus out of his skin.

I'm glad you like Smidgen, she's one of my favorite OC's, she's very fun and I enjoy writing her.  She is also wise and helps Harry and Severus a great deal.  Thanks as always for your wonderful reviews, I look forward to reading them!

Beautiful! I hope Smidgen such a cute name! knocks the darn nightmares right out of Harry's head. Yay for fae therapy. And please bring Sarai in.

Author's Response: She'll certainly try, though it's up to Harry to face what he fears.  And Sarai is coming soon!

Oohh! That was awesome. Can I find a shimmerling in my garden? I really hope Smidgen can help Harry. And I'm glad Draco & harry's relationship is improving. Finally!

Author's Response: yes, it took them awhile, but they're finally getting along, though they'll still have arguments and disagreements like any family.  And I'd love to find a shimmerling in my garden too! You'll see how Smidgen helps Harry in the next chapter.

I think Smidgen is awesome! You come up with the most creative characters, love it! I'd love for Sarai to meet the boys. Hope Smidgen can relaly help harry and then Severus too, he needs help also. I liked how Harry asked Draco for advice and then took it, LOL!

Author's Response: I was wondering who would pick up on that last little bit.  I think it shows that draco and Harry a re maturing in their relationship little by little and beginning to become brothers the way Severus had hoped.   And you're right about Smidgen helping Severus, because he needs someone too.
