Reviews For The Heir to Prince Manor
Author's Response: Thanks and Smidgen is very wise as well as being very intuitive and well, you'll see. Glad you're excited about Sarai, I'm excited about writing her, she should be a trip!
Author's Response: Yes, there's no doubt about that. Severus has always been smart! Bit of a Freudian slip there, huh? LOL! I should be posting the next chapter tomorrow sometime! You should meet Sarai in a couple of chapter, if this goes as planned.
Taru Author's Response: Oh so you've read the Dresden stuff too, so have I! I love those books, but I actually wasn't intending to base my stuff off them, it just seemed cool to have Sev and Harry and Draco with fae blood in them, I like to play around with things like that. You'll be meeting Sarai, Sev's mentor in a few chapters too! Thanks for reviewing!
i eagerly await the next chapter! Author's Response: Thanks Amy! I should be posting the next one up soon!
are we going to see any other fae beings? i hope so. Author's Response: Right now I haven't planned on having anyone but Sarai show up at the manor, but perhaps she could take the boys on a little trip into faerie, but I'm not sure yet. Glad you like Smidgen's name, I thought it was fitting and cute too.
Author's Response: yeah, I wasn't planning on bringing her in until much later, but I wanted to test the waters and see how many people would be ameniable to her before I introduced her. I put a lot of time and effort into my OC's creating personalities and backgrounds ect for them and it irritates me when people think they don't belong in a story just because it's a fanfic, and you should only use the created characters. To me fanfic is a free expression type of thing, it's taking characters where they've never gone before and having them do things and sometimes behave in ways the author didn't think of, and part of that is bringing in OC's that make the original character's lives more interesting. One of the best examples of that is the Dragonlance series, created first by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, but they later opened the series to other authors and let them play around in their universe with their own characters and the original ones. It's a great series and if you haven't read it, you should. Anyway, hope you like the next few chapters, your reviews are appreciated.
Author's Response: Thanks, I will as soon as DaughterofAres lets me know how she liked the next chapter!
