Reviews For The Heir to Prince Manor
This story is so making me want to go Shimmerling hunting until I find one ^_^ It would be too epic to have a Shimmerling take up residence in my home! I like how Harry once again, initiated contact with Sev and hugged him. Sev needed that. He doesn't know it yet, but it seems that he is doing what Harry was doing to himself. He feels bad about betraying Lily to the Dark Lord, and he won't allow himself to be loved. He thinks he deserves to be treated wrong. Poor Sev. I'm so glad that he, Harry and Draco are becoming such a tight knit family. I was so excited to see Draco and Petunia come up with the other faces of people that loved Harry! I was like yayyyyyy *does a jig*!!!! lol I'm so glad Draco and Harry are getting alone!!! I'm not a Draco lover (or liker, for that matter), but in stories like this, the little brat grows on me! lol XD Great chapter! Can't wait to see the Vernon dementor, he seems worse than ol' moldy Voldy to me!
Author's Response: yeah, they were intense, weren't they? Hope you like the rest!
I'm very glad to see Harry confronting his fears and realizing that he ::grounds teeth:: is. not. alone. ::grins:: And Severus should not be ashamed of receiving comfort from his sons! ::glares at the pair:: A relationship works both ways you know! Ok, off to read one more chapter and then I'm going to bed. ::sidles out the door while still singing high-ho:: -- I'm glad you like my reviews! I know how important it is to feel appreciated. Believe me, I'm a sensitive little person and that's the main reason I haven't updated - I completely lost confidence in myself. But, thanks to someone kicking me, I finally got my head back in the game. ::bows before the great Lady Snapegirl:: I would be most honored to read your story and I'm thrilled that you would want me to. ::grins widely:: Byesies for now. ::waggles fingers:: Toodles! Author's Response: yes, both harry and Severus have issues they need to resolve and so does Draco, but I'm getting to him later, as you'll see. I LOVE your reviews and I LOVE your story too, so don't stop writing just because a few yahoos respond stupidly to your work, some of them did that to me on Hide Yourself From A Prisoner, saying they didn't like Aria Lupin. Well too bad, 'cause Aria stays and is a major part of that series, from that book to the last. As for my other story, email me & I'll send it.
you never cese to amze me! can't wait for the next one! Author's Response: Thanks, Amy!
Just wait for the next one, it's even scarier!
Author's Response: Wow! Thanks! I'm delighted you found that part so moving, it was my favorite part too. I figured after all he'd been through, Sev deserved a hug from his son too! And he needed to hear from Harry's own mouth that his son could forgive him for not saving his mother, it really meant more than words could say.
Author's Response: Oh good, then I wasn't being overly harsh with my portrayal, because I've always pictured James as being an arrogant spoiled playboy who had a good deal of maturing to do, and somehow I never quite bought the whole idea that he suddenly went from a bored spoiled bully that tormented Severus because he was there to this wonderful hero in what--two years? I figured there had to be some kind of life altering thing that happened to make him change . . .or perhaps he never changed and people simply chose to forget about how he really was and make him into some kind of paragon after he died facing Voldemort. I know plenty of real people who behave just like James did, though raising a child does tend to mature you if you let it.
Author's Response: yeah! *laughs* I normally don't care for draco, but I decided to give him a makeover in this story and now he's grown on me.
Author's Response: Thank you! You're so kind and I hope you'll like the next part.
Author's Response: He surely does! and I've jsut posted a new chapter. |
