Prince Manor feels like such a refuge of safety and calm after the storm of the trial. I’m glad they got their just dues.

This trial was incredible. I felt like I was there. Severus's testimony was chilling and sad. And narcissa! Can someone drown her?? Please! Poor Draco!

Author's Response: I'd volunteer! LOL! But now at least Draco can move on and have a real family with those who love him, right?

Your writing gets better and better. I can visualize the courtroom scene, right down to the Weasleys in the crowd.

Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad you can see that scene, since it was a difficult one for me to write and I'm grateful to my friend Linda for helping me with it.

Eight sentences up from the end of this chapter, there's a misspelling. After Draco growls at Octavian, you describe Octavian in the next sentence.
He should be described as "weaselly", NOT spelled the same as Ron and his family in lower case.
It's unfair to the Weasleys, besides!

Author's Response: Thanks, I'll go fix it.  You're right, who'd want to be related to Octavian Malfoy, ugh! Poor Draco.

The Malfoy Trial was truly inspiring, my dearest Snapegirl.

You are going to put my chapter to shame when I finally post chapter 4 of Breaking Dawn. ::grins:: I started writing it but realized that it had the potential for another story. So it's called Breaking Midnight: it is the month that is not mentioned in Breaking Dawn and reveals how Severus and Harry become closer. Although . . .I'm writing it very, very slowly 'cause I'm focusing on my original story Of Blood and Ashes at the moment.

Need I say that you are a very talented author? Any story you write, I will gladly read or purchase - but you have to sign it for me first! ::winks::

    ::waggles fingers::

I take my leave for now.

Author's Response: Sounds delightful, I can't wait to read it!  I'm especially curious to see what you do with my Smidgen.  And of course I would sign it.  How many copies would you like?

Wonderful, absolutely wonderful! The Malfoys got put away, yes! *touchdown!* And Draci showed them all he wasn't his father's son and Severus showed them all he wasn't a Death eater. A Snape victory all around!

Author's Response: Isn't it great that they finally got what they deserved?

It was perfect! I loved the scene at night between harry and Draco, it showed that the two are truly brothers now and can rely on each other. You showed draco's vulnerability very well there, poor kid.

The trial was great too, it was like reading a good mystery novel, and I wasn't sure they would get convicted until the end. Thank Merlin they were!

Draco's facing off against his parents was brilliant, though I'd of liked to kick Narcissa, the miserable hag.

And so was Severus's defense of Draco and Draco punching out Octavian. Go for it!

Can't wait to see what happenes next!

Author's Response: aww, thanks a bunch.  I love reading mysteries, but I don't think I could ever write one.

Great chapter! I felt like I was there at the trial. Or watching an episode of Law & Order, with wizards. yay for conviction and I feel bad for Draco, though really he got the best of that deal. Now he can inherit his father's estate and do some good instead of evil.

Author's Response: law & Order with wizard? Wow, that's a nice comparison.  And Draco will eventually inherit the estate, when he turns 17.
