Reviews For The Heir to Prince Manor
Author's Response: I'm not sure, but I think somewhere I read that it is equivalent to $5.50 Hermione is smart, but it might take her awhile to figure it out, since she's never been the recipient of a secret admirer before.
As for Some Good Guys Wear Black... I'm sure it's an amazing story - I should know - you wrote it - I just really hate Ginny. No offence to you if you love her but I really /hate/ the redhead. Never liked her and that'll never change. The snippet with Sev Prince was enchanting and refreshing; an inspiring twist to an already incredible story. Now go update In the Arms of a Dark Angel before I hurt you. ::winks:: Lots of love, Jewels. - How was /that/ for a review eh? - And... did you get my e-mail? Author's Response: I'm working on the next chapter of Angel now as a matter of fact. I'm not a big fan of Ginny myself, but she fit in with the storyline for Good Guys, it's mostly about Severus, Harry, and Sev's adopted son Gavin, who used to be in a gang and was a former thief, he's a great character and you should read it just to meet him. I wrote another story just with him and Sev in it that I can't post here. Love Sev Prince too. And yes, I did get your email, I loved it too and agree with everything in it.
Uh, can I have my galleon now? I'm broke! By the way congratulations on your featured stories! Author's Response: Sure, here it comes! Thanks a lot!
This was a brilliant chapter. I loved the test and the way the manor chose Harry as the heir, such clever and meaningful questions. And harry's O and Draco saying he didn't mind was beautiful. I take it the next stop is Hogwarts? Author's Response: It is indeed and just wait till they find out what awaits them there.
Author's Response: Yes they will, of course for fourth year.
Author's Response: I had a fun time making up those questions, I wanted the criteria for the heir to be something meaningful, since the Heir has to be guardian and protector as well as love the manor and feel comfortable in it. Harry fit the criteria perfectly, like Snape before him. And he enjoyed speaking to Severus Prince as well, who became a kind of role model for him as he read through the journals.
Author's Response: Yes, I felt Sev Prince would be the bets one to talk to Harry and represent the manor's interests, since he too was one who was a half-blood.
Author's Response: Glad to hear it. I tried to come up with a unique way for the manor to choose the heir apparent and as I was re-reading certain chapters, the idea of Severus Prince's ghost came to mind. And of course, I had to let Harry redeem himself on his exam and prove to Severus that he really could get a decent mark if he studied hard.
Author's Response: Yes harry did earn that grade, anybody who had to repeat a course over the summer given by Snape would have done so. Severus Prince was a lot of fun to write, and Draco has changed drastically from the spoiled brat he was to a mature, well sometimes, and caring brother.
Author's Response: me too, he really wanted to be. |
