Okay, I totally was NOT expecting Dudley to be going too and I'm LOVING the idea. Oh, this is just an awesome story. I can't wait until Harry realizes just who rescued him. ;).

Ah, I feel rather sheepish now for my last review. I understand now why Harry must stay there. :) So now Dudley's along for the ride? This should be interesting. Any chance a couple Weasleys and maybe a Granger will show up? :)
Author's Response: Lol... Well, I think it's good that I could anticipate your concerns at that interval. I haven't decided how I'll have done away with Voldy, but as some people seem concerned about that aspect, I'll throw an explanation in somewhere along the line. I appologize that it's getting to be so long between reviews, but I'm the type of person who writes when the muse strikes, which makes me unreliable. I try to make the wait worth it, with varying levels of success. I do hope you'll stick with me though. I did just start school this past week and I also have another fanfiction going which takes up my time but the next chapter is about half finished now.
this sounds like its gonna be a great story, having dudley help was quite unusual

Dudley is turning out to be a real great "big brother" and Sev strangely seems to like him. I noted that Sev says that he will take Harry to a hospital and then he will have to find Albus but will it not be dangerous for Harry to be at a public (wizard) hospital where anyone could get him unless Poppy is there during the summer. But it might be good so they could officially document all the abuse that Harry has suffered. Anyway I guess I will find out next chapter.
As a muggle born it should be no problem for Sev to take care of Dudley and it will be no different than a wizarding family who has a squib (which Dudley might be) and since Dudley also goes to a boarding school it should not be a problem when schools starts back. However Sev should get people like Mad Eye or Kingsley (aurors they trust) to arrest Vernon and Petunia and charge them otherwise Sev could be arrested for kidnapping Dudley.

You bring up points which I hadn't necessarily thought of yet... and some that I had thought of, but I hadn't worried about as much. I appreciate it. Your advice makes it so that I will look at the story from all angles and make sure to address everything. The thing you mentioned about St Mungo's is a good thing to note- I had forgotten about the dangers, but one guy was killed by Devil's Snare at St. Mungo's, so I guess it's not completely out of the question. Thank you for reading, for reviewing, and especially for your thoughts. I do a lot of writing but until I discovered fanfiction nobody ever read my stuff so it was hard to improve. :))

Thank you so much for updating! I can't believe Severus is taking in Dudley as well! What's going to happen during the school year? Dudley's going to have an interestin time in Severus's house as there is more discipline there than he's use to. He's also going to have to get use to magic.
I can't wait for the next update and holding on to your word that it'll be in the next week!
