Reviews For Where Shadows Go
Author's Response: A caring family always makes you feel better
harry is just priceless! Author's Response: He's adorable isn't he?
i had to smile at harry playing healer, he did a great job Author's Response: Yes, he takes after his dad. But at least Sev could watch Harry open his gifts and enjoy his first Christmas in their new home.
Author's Response: Sev's lucky to have Harry and Lily to take care of him. Thanks for reviewing.
Author's Response: Thanks, and Sev does get better, fortunately!
His favorite was Rike Tiki Tavi Author's Response: One of mine too and the White Seal also.
Author's Response: Funny, other people have complained about their husbands too when they were sick, LOL!
I LOVED Harry playing healre and telling his daddy what to do. That was so sweet -- and Harry letting Sev sleep with Smokey was just the 'icining' so to speak. LOL Taking Christmas to Sev was a great idea. Well done. I liked the reference near the end that Sev made about being the half-blood Prince. That was cool, the way you worked it in. Thank you again for letting me know about the new chapters, and thank you for posting them. I am so LOVING the story. Cheers Author's Response: Harry can be a real sweetheart when he wants to be. I didn't want poor Sev to miss out on Christmas and once when my dad was sick then, my mom had all of us kids open our presents in his bedroom so he could celebrate with us. He really appreciated it.rnrnI'm glad you noticed my little reference there, I was wondering if anybody would pick up on that. Good to see you pay attention.rnrnJust in case you didn't recieve my last response yet, the next chapter's up. Happy reading and thanks for your reviews as always.
I was sick on my birthday once though! Can't wait to see what happens with Harry & Neville! Author's Response: Aww, poor you! I'd hate to be sick then! Or on Christmas. Although there was one year when everyone in my house came down with a stomach virus the day after, ugh! rnrnYou can read about Neville and Harry right now.
I heartily approve of Severus's choice of reading material. I used to read Kipling to Kris when he was small. One time, Kris and I were sitting on the couch and I was reading the Jungle /Book to him. Randy was in the bathroom shaving. I had gotten to the part where Mother and Father Wolf were facing off Sher Khan, when I heard Randy call for me. I looked up and he said "Could you read louder?" In all of his years, he had never read Jungle Book. My favorite story is the Curious Elephant Child. Author's Response: I love Kipling, I've read everything by him over and over and over. I used to ask for a panther like Bagheera (he was always my favorite) for Christmas every year when I was eight, nine, and ten. Then I started asking for a wolf and when I was twelve my big brother (he was twenty-two) bought me a wolf-dog that looked like a full wolf. He was one of the smartest and best dogs I've ever owned. And the gentlest, surprisingly. His name was Myatuk (White Fang in Inuit) and he was an awesome dog.rnrnI love the Curious Elephant Child too, and make reference to it in the next chapter I just posted. rnrnCan't imagine anybody not ever reading the Jungle Book. It's a classic. How did your husband like it? |
