I knew that was coming but even so . . .it was very sad. Harry really was a little beast, I'd have spanked him too, Sev lasted longer than I would've, LOL! Keep it up!
Author's Response: Thanks and even though you know something is going to happen, it still doesn't keep you from feeling the emotion, kind of like watching a horror movie, when you know the monster's in the closet and it's going to come out and start killing, but when it comes out you scream and are scared.

Oh my -- that was sad. I knew sad was on the way. Well done.
Enough said about the sad -- Harry was certainly a little hellion -grin- I could just picture him doing all that, too. It was quite like a little boy I babysat years and years ago. Again, well done.
I hate sad, but even so - I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response: The next chapter won't be quite as sad, not yet. There's a bit of a reprieve while Sev gathers his nerve and tries to tell Lily the bad news, but first there's a friendly picnic.
And the heart breaking thing is, we know she won't make it. Poor Sev and Harry. I am sooooo glad those tantrum days are over. Now it is just a mouthy teenager, although, seeing her friends, I know it could be waaaay worse! ;-)
Good chappie! Can't wait for the rest.
Author's Response: Teenagers can be rough too. Half of my nephews and nieces are teens now and I'm glad I'm not their parents, LOL! As for Lily and Sev, it's really a tragedy.

*sighs* Heavy chapter. I would hate to be in Severus's position, having to tell a loved one they are dying. I don't know how parents of kids with cancer do it. I hope to God I never have to go through something like that. Thanks for the update. Harry was pure mischief this chapter. I can understand the feeling of just wanting to be a brat. I get that feeling sometimes, but because of this thing called maturity I have that Harry doesn't I don't act on those feelings.
Author's Response: I can't imagine doing it either. It scares me to death. Poor Severus and poor Lily and Harry too!

Intense!!! I loved this chapter. Harry did deserve that spanking! The emotion is so raw, it makes the story all the better to read, keep going, I love your work.
