That was an absolutley wonderful story. I needed the klennexes, trust me. I had read some of the Never Again series but I was struggling to make it all make sense, i confess it wasn't always in order. This story has prompted me to go back to them and enjoy the rest of the saga. I really do wish that it could have been happier-without Lily dying-but I know you have written more which is the only reason I am not crying becuase it's the end. Keep Writing Please (maybe even an alternative universe to this story where Lily lives on and it's all about the dynamics of how this little family continues)

Oh yes--- I have to put Kleenex on my shopping list, coz I'm running awfully low after getting thru this story. In "Steel Magnolias", Truvy said that laughter through tears was her favorite emotion. I think you've managed to create similar emotion in many chapters of this story. Even when I wasn't crying sadly, I could laugh 'til I cried! Thanks for a splendid ride!

Oh how I balled over this bloody story!! My two year old came over and said "It's ok mommy." and then proceded to wipe my tears away of course that only made it worse thinking of what little Harry would have done for Lily or even Sev. This is a brilliant if not heartbreaking story. Thank you for sharing it.

very good story. i tried my Damnedest not to cry, but that last line did me in!

Author's Response: Aww! Yes, this whole story was something of a tearjerker. Hope you enjoy the other parts of the series. Mother's Day and Split Second will probably make you cry again.

Thank you once again for this lovely story. I have laughed and cried.
You have endeared Severus to me with just one statement he often said "What the Hell" I happen to say it quite often myself.
A good handle on how children behave and I almost feel like you have been looking over my shoulder in regards to your discipline techniques. I was a great believer in the count system. My kids had until 3-------they knew that if they were still doing what I told them to stop doing than a consequence was coming their way. They learned very early that mommy meant business.
I laughed so hard at what Harry did to poor Minerva's office--------that was so funny and I could relate as my son---now in his twenties went through that same stage. Nothing was left untouched------I had brought him washable crayons and when he discovered they would mark upon anything------well.
I once jokingly told my sister-in-law not to sit to long or he would mark on her shoes-----------sure enough it came to pass.
So keep up your good work I have enjoyed many of your stories and please finish those you have not yet complete. I am really looking forward to see what happens to Snape and Harry.
    Thank you again

Author's Response: Thank you for your lovely review! So much of my story here is based upon things that happened to me and my sister with her children and I am happy to see that this struck a responisve chord in you as well. There are several more stories in this series to read and if you like you could continue onward with Forbidden Flight and Mother's Day, and Never Again, if you haven't already. This series is very family orientated and centers on the ups and downs of being in a family of wizards.  Again, thank you for reading!

Wow. I knew this was going to be a sad story, but I didn't expect to find myself in tears. Nice work!

Author's Response: Thanks, this one made me cry too, writing it! I guess that's a good thing, considering this was a tragic novel towards the end.  But if you read the others in this series, you will find mostly happy endings.

I wrote the last review but forgot to say that I suffered from Lupus almost 25 years ago. I made a pretty full recovery although I still have poor working kidneys and bad arthritis. It's not a well know disease although there is a help group near to where I live in England and I know other people who have lupus. Great to read something where someone actually understands the disease. One of the biggest problems I had was that I didn't look ill and I know some folk just thought I was damn lazy. I hope your story encourages folk to go and google lupus and learn a little more about it.

    Thanks

Author's Response: me too! My best friends mom died of it back in the 90's and I was there when she was going through it, plus I also did a lot of research on it afterwards.  I suffer from fibromyalgia and that's another one where you can look perfectly fine and yet feel like utter crap on some days. And people think you're a hypocondriac.  It has some of the same symptoms as lupus too only you can't die from it.  I'm glad you've recovered from yours and again thank you!
