I finally caught up to this chapter and God , but it was sad. I was almost crying. I wish Lily didn't have to die!

Author's Response: Believe me, so do I1 I really hate writing sad fics like this.  But this is the prequel, and so . . .
Title: An Absolutely Awful Day 24 Nov 2008 5:45 pm

I feel sorry for Harry getting his first real spanking. But he did deserve it though, he shouldn't have been naughty and hit his daddy with a toy train, that hurts. I also feel sorry for Harry because his mum is going to die and both his biological parents will be dead. I'm glad he has Severus though and I feel sorry for Severus because he's going to lose the love of his life.

Author's Response: That's very true, this is a very sad and tragic story, but at least Sev will have Harry to help him get through the hard times ahead. And vice versa.

Go Sirius! I always wanted him to tell off Petunia. And Harry was awesome too! Great job. But I have a feeling that's going to be the last time I'll be laughing when I read this fic.

Author's Response: Yes, I really liked writing that part.  Sirius doesn't put up with her attitude.  And you're right, the last few chapters will be tragic and angsty and sad.

Finally got around to reading this, I was so busy. I loved it! especially how Sirius and Harry told off Petunia for attacking Severus that way. The woman needs to get a life! Her visit sure didn't help Lily any.

Author's Response: No and you're right, it didn't.

Aww this chapter was great. I like how the parents reacted, it was very believable, even when hal was being kind of an idiot and thinking Sev was like a miracle worker. Glad lily and Vi set him straight and he apologized to Sev.

Petunia's visit was as I'd expect, Sirius was awesome and so was Harry. Please write some more!

Author's Response: I will, thanks for reviewing! Writing the part with Vi and Hal was kind of hard, i kept imagining what my parents felt like when my sister told them she had cancer, she has since recovered, thank God.
