OH MY GOSH! This was such a sad chapter. (tear tear tear tear tear):( I knew it was coming but... OH GOSH I just had a flash back to the day my grandma died when I read this chapter. I was the one holding her hand when she took her last breath. I feel so sorry for Severus and Harry. (tear tear tear tear tear):(

Ok I read most of this story and I'm crying. I loved this chapter and it was better then I imagined it. Poor Snape family and all of Lily's loved ones.

I just read the summaries for the rest of the chapters. I am crying and I haven't even read the chapters yet. I'll eventually get to them once I stop crying over a story. You're a very good writer. :)

Oh this was such a touching story, though I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to get through it towards the end because it was so sad. But this was a brilliant story.

Ouch. Mercy - that was also intense. I'm both glad and not glad that the story has ended. I'm glad because now I won't have to look for a Kleenex distributorship in order to support my sudden need for tissue. I'm not glad because I really like the Severus as Harry's father story ... I guess I'll just have to re-read your other stories -- the sequels, which - by the way - I also love.
Thank you for the roller-coaster ride that this story has been.
Author's Response: Yeah, I'm of two minds about this one myself. I really like how this turned out, but Lord, I was working with a box of Kleenex myself, and yet . . .I think this story makes the sequels all the more poignant, since now you can see what Severus had and then lost, and why it meant so much to him when Tobias came back into his life and he someone to rely on again--though a father, not a wife. Thanks for reading and have fun re-reading the sequels. I'm working on HP Dogsitter by the way.

This was one of the most moving stories I've ever read. From beginning to end, it was so beautiful and sad and it made me cry several times over.

this chapter was very moving and i did shred a tear or two, i did smile at the thought of minerva hovering over sev, making sure he ate his meal like a naughty child, i'm glad sev has family and friends around him, someone for him to talk to if needed
