Reviews For Where Shadows Go
Author's Response: Yeah, this one's a lot more angsty than the last one, because it contains a lot more about death and sadness. it's mainly about losing a loved one and then finding a new love and how it can be hard to hold onto the new one, especially when he's got emotional problems, like Severus does. And I will be doing more with Sev's new family eventually, I just have to think about whether or not to start the sequel off when both Lexy & Harry go to school.
Author's Response: They are, and they also suspect, but have never asked, about his life at home when he was a child. I would imagine that he was always over there, and so they got to know him very well. Bet they were surprised when Lily married James.
Author's Response: Umm...I'm not going to say anything about Lily yet, though of course those of you who have read the series know that she does die.
Author's Response: yes, I was going to have Lily's parents at the funeral, but it was a wizard affair, so then I thought it might be forbidden by the Ministry. I will make mention of the fact that the Evanses did have a separate service for James and the Muggle side of the family and you'll see that Lily will eventually call her parents and Remus and Sirius because she starts getting reminded of James everywhere. And I am so sorry about your son, that is a terrible thing to have to go through. My aunt lost her son in a car accident many years ago, he was 25, and to this day she can talk about him but only for a few minutes and she has since moved out of the house where her kids grew up.
just watch the grammar when it comes to 'would of' i know you know this but its would have or would've or wher lily says he'd of liked that - he would've liked that sorry for nitpicking the story and the whole arc is awesome overall i give you a ten for all your fics Author's Response: Thanks, Bren! You rock. And I know about that point, but it's dialect, I've noticed a lot of British speakers seem to use it in their fics, which was why I started using it in mine. Anyway, glad you liked it, I hope to continue with it soon!
Author's Response: He sure did, but it will take some time to get used to not having James around. The next chapter will be mostly Lily and Harry and Lily's parents.
Author's Response: yeah, no doubt about it, this one's gonna be a real tearjerker. I can write them, I just don't always like to. My sister calls me the Queen of Happy Endings because I love books and movies that end happily and I mostly write things that end that way too.
Author's Response: Couldn't resist it! I was home listening to some music and this scene came to me and I just had to write it down! More to follow, of course!
Good job, wonderfully written, Scorpia Author's Response: There will be, but this one will have more sadness running through it, as Lily tries to come to terms with James's death and Severus with his past. But Harry will help them both, he'll be the one who makes them laugh and so forth. But there will be a few tearjerker moments. And here's hoping you update your fics too!
Author's Response: OMG, you're hilarious! I think that was the funniest review I've gotten all day. They're building a new Costco right down the street from me, LOL! Yup, this one's going to be sad but there will be happy times to offset the sad ones. |
