Reviews For Where Shadows Go
Beautiful. Need I say more? Love always, Jewels. Author's Response: No, you said it all! :) Thanks, Jewels!
In a way it is a release to know that they will go on and love again. Now, I get to go back and reread your other stories in this series. But you did a very good thing. In JKRs work, Lily is a shadowy figure. Here, you brought her to life and gave her a being of herself - not mother who gave her life for her son, a woman who loved and laughed and argued. Thank you. And that is why I like fanfiction. It feels in the empty holes. If a book or a tv series ends well, I rarely read fanfiction about it. Babylon 5 and the Lord of the Rings were great and I just don't need to read anything more about it. But the HP universe and the Buffy universe just didn't end right - so that is the fanfiction I read. Author's Response: Yes, I know how that goes. This past three months, three of my relatives died, two of cancer and one of an anyeurism unexpectedly. Awful! I agree about Lily, to me she was never really given enough depth as a character. Even in DH she seemed rather flat and well . . .shallow, i guess. So I wanted to flesh her out and make her real, like my friend Susan, who would have loved this fic, if she had lived to read it, always said--you make me feel as if I know her. I'm happy you all got to know my Lily and that she meant so much to you for all to mourn her at the end. Again, I agree about the ending of HP, it didn't end right, or rather it ended right for some and others, like Sev and Fred, got cheated.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm currently working on anew short fic in this sereis called Harry Potter Dogsitter, so you could read that if you'd like.
Author's Response: Thanks, hope you enjoy them!
Author's Response: Thanks for reading! I just posted a new chapter of it too!
Author's Response: That ought to be a really awesome ride, huh? And remember Eileen will be there too somehow.
Author's Response: it so definitely is, there was so much angst in here that I had to escape it several times and work on my other fic so I wouldn't get so depressed that I couldn't write the ending. It's always difficult to balance strong emotional chapters, and I'm glad I managed to do so. Thanks, Mila!
Author's Response: Thanks, and I'm working on an other short piece called Harry Potter Dogsitter right now, check it out if you want!
Thank you for writing this incredible story Author's Response: Aww . . .this was such a poignant scene, that part when he starts really letting himself feel her loss made me very sad, i felt so bad doing that to him.
i shall have to go on to your other stories now! Author's Response: Thanks! My other stories won't be half as angsty, I think! |
