Reviews For Vows
That was mean... Once again, a very well written chapter.
I'm absolutely in love with the manner in which this fic is progressing - I love the character development and the subtle (and not so subtle) differences from a traditional Severitus fic. I think that the way this is written and the manner in which this is progressing is at perfect pace. And then I looked up at the list of future chapters and realized I'm only about 1/3 done with this gem! Honestly, CoS is one of my favourites of the series and I cannot wait to see how this moves forward. /some childish part of me is hoping Harry gets a snake familiar of his own, but then again that's something I'm always wishing for/ Looks like Harry will have tough times ahead.
Author's Response: Yep, "treated" is a euphemism for pissed on the bed.
i don't think "spurious" fits where you've used it - ""Yeah, surprising, huh?r1; he said at Neviller17;s spurious glance." "spurious" = "false" or "fake". something like "skeptical" would work better. Author's Response: Spurious can also mean Doubtful, which is the definition I chose here. I don't necessarily go with the most common uses of words; I like to have my readers dig for meanings - expands their vocabulary. But glad to see someone is thinking! ;-)
Anyway, great job here and I'm looking forward to seeing more of Severus teaching potions and will we get to see how the Slytherins react with Draco? Author's Response: I love Hermione - definitely my alter ego. As for Draco? Oh, possibly... |
