I've never consciously tried to turn it off, but there's been times when I just didn't react to it. I think I'd rather feel the tickles because if someone persists for too long my body feels more of a pain sensation instead of a ticklish one. I generally just act like it tickles.

Yay for Draco!!! Lucius sucks major, but i'm glad Draco is finally getting something he really deserves.
Father Christmas was pretty cool!
I love the bond that Harry and Draco share, it's really nice to know you have someone you will always love to be your friend and sibling, some one you protect and you know will always try to protect you.
The tickle thing is quite interesting. I've never been one to turn off my tickle reaction lol. Quite the contrary actually, I thrash around quite wildly...XD haha

awwww i loved the gifts and draco offically a Snape that is huge the adoption brought tears to my eyes as did the end where they opened up to each other
loved the Bishop it was needed
Wow, I never knew that, how interesting! I loved the father Christmas bit, I recently read a series of novels about Santa Claus, aka Bishop Nicholas, by Jeff Guin, if you haven't read them you should check them out, they're delightful and partially historical, they deal with Mrs. Claus as well.
I really like the snake, she sounds cool! And I'm glad draco reassured harry that he wasn't jealous of Severus's relationship with his blood son.

great chapter, great christmas for harry and draco, great one severus in getting draco as your adopted son, just in time for christmas, i wonder if harry will find dracos ticklish spot

lol i can also 'turn off' my tickle response, i also hated being tickled when i was younger! it infuriates my fiance who is very ticklish still *evil chuckle* I loved the family christmas, it always makes me feel all smushy when i read about one, great chapter : )

I can turn off the tickle reaction in my feet. I had to because my dad would occasionally wake me up by tickling me there... I can control it to a certain extend in my neck but I can't keep it up for long there.
Anyways, good chapter and it will be interesting to see how the school will react when they find out Harry has a pet snake...

Well, you may not be ticklish, but this chapter tickled me thoroughly. I loved seeing Harry's reaction to Father Christmas and Hedwig deciding to nap on his crosier and...well, everything, actually. Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks - I liked that visual as well. Father Christmas always struck me as a bit of St Francis, as well, and that animals would automatically gravitate to him.
