love Ron in this love it and Draco afraid of Snakes and he is slytherin well sort of i think he and harry have a lot of the other houses in them

Thanks for another up-date, great as usual:)
I love the parts with Runeskin and the warrior house elves, it makes sense they would have their own kind of magic and the martial arts also. It's funny that Draco & Ron are scared of snakes. And I liked the part when Severus freaked about Harry talking to the basilisk and how he came and held Harry when he sensed something was bothering him. I guess it makes sense that Harry would consider it "house arrest" being down in Severus quarters at first, until Sev explained things to him. Will they ever discover who has the diary? And will Harry ever learn how to extend his senses?
great chapter and i'm glad severus was able to reassure harry about his living accomodation at school, draco needs someone apart from severus to talk and confide in, i hope they find the diary soon though
