Brilliant as usual!But...errrr...how come Severus didn't just use like confringo or something to bust thought the wall of rocks? I'm surprised he sent Harry to go rescue his brother and another professor, knowing that a basilisk was there too. It would have even worked if he some how took off his robes and turned them into a portkey to get to the other side.
Sorry, like I said before---I analyze things wayyyyy too much lol.
I'm really really happy Draco was rescued as well as poor professor Trelawney lol. And good riddance to Lockhart!
A brilliant rewrite of your AU of the CoS climax! I'm impressed with how you implemented the same events happening - but quite a few of them for different reasons.
And once more, I love your version of Harry. I love how he's not completely clueless - thanks to Snape - and able to use this knowledge to get things accomplished far easier.
The only thing that seemed a tad OOC was Snape being perfectly fine with letting his son go face down Tom Riddle and a Basilisk...with the chance that his other son may well be dead too. That's honestly it, though. I'm impressed!
i loved Severus's faith in Harry i think that meant alot and Fawkes he defintly has something for the young boy
yes, that was great! I loved how Sev made Gilderoy come down there and help or try to. The part about the miner and the bird was great, I've read about people doing that in the gold mines in California with canaries.
So the stone snakes called Harry the Heir, is he the Heir of Slytherin in your story? I also like how it was draco and Trelwney that were rescued instead of Ginny. Great job! I wonder what Severus will say to Draco?
By the way I've posted a new chapter of WSG, and wondered if you'd review it and let me know if your wall-oainting experience with your daughter was anything like Harry's.

Action packed! I was a bit suprised that Severus let Harry go on without him without a fight but I guess he trusted him not to kill himself lol : )
