Lovely chapter! It made me laugh and cry! Loved the part where Harry was flying blind and giving Severus a heart attack. LOL! I agree with him, Harry should have been restricted from playing in so many games, he really was too young, no matter his natural talent. It only made him stand out and be resented by certain people.

Author's Response: yeah, this was a fun chapter for me to write, especially the part about Harry being blind as a bat and still flying! I was like, yeah that would be me, nearly hitting trees and all, since I can't see three feet in front of me in the dark, I'm so nearsighted and night blind too!

I loved the way Harry had to be reminded not to give himself away by smiling...too funny! And how Severus teaches him extra spells and flying maneuvers. But oh man, Harry needs to watch his flying, LOL!

Poor Severus! I can sympathise with him totally. My son is craz and reckless too and nearly gives me heart failure almost every day. But it was good that severus found out about Harry's glasses, so he can get new ones. Those rotten Dursleys!
Update soon, I want to know what's going on next!

I agree with Sev here, Harry shouldn't be allowed to play. But since he is, I'm glad Severus is there to watch out for him. Hope Pomfrey can help him get new glasses. Great job and can't wait for the rest!

excellent chapter! i love hte idea of snape giving private flying lessons, and loved your scene with harry sailing half-blind around a tree in the dark and scaring snape witless :) very creative and well done! emotional tone is bang on too... harry is so timid with his heart.
Author's Response: Thanks! Poor Severus, Harry's going to be doing that a lot to him, I'm afraid. And yes, Harry is very timid and afraid to trust anyone all the way with his heart. But perhaps that might change as this progresses . . .

Great chapter, wished I could have read it sooner. I was looking forward to it and it was all that H had hoped for! Harry's going to get new glasses? Good for him, or maybe Pomfrey will fix his eyes for good? I can not wait for an update, you're brilliant. It was nice to see Snape being protective.
