Aww! I'm feeling all gushy...and fluffy! Anybody got a kitty cat? I need to squeze something. That was so sweet, Snape though of Harry as his son, (grins goofily).

Author's Response: Me too! And yes, Severus is beginning to love Harry like a son, the old softy!

Thanks, Snapegirl. I had the most awful work week but your writing makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
    Great chapter!!

Author's Response: You're welcome, I like to make my readers feel good, since I write as a stress reliever, believe it or not.

Loved it! Go Sev! I love it when Snape gets all protective.

Author's Response: So do I.  He's very dangerous don't you think?

Beautiful! Though I nearly died when Severus thought Harry was dead. *shakes a reproving finger* not nice! I'm glad Harry told Severus about his scar hurting and now Severus is very watchful and alert. Loved the end where Harry called Snape Severus and fell asleep holding his hand!

Author's Response: Sorry, but sometimes it takes a catastrophe to make people aware of something like a murderer in the castle.  And yes, Harry and Severus together are very sweet!

::cackles:: Oooh! We have a PROTECTIVE Snape on the loose!

::claps hands together conspiritorially:: Does he have an Animagus form? Something cool like a panther or serpent? Is he human? Is he a vampire? ::grins:: I'd /love/ to see you write a vampire!Snape story, Snapegirl - you'd be amazing at it.

Update soon, my dear. I am so very eagerly looking forward for more!

    Lots of love,
    Jewels.

    Author's Response:

    Yes and evil doers beware!

In my story Some Good Guys Wear Black (posted here) Snape's Animagus form was a black peregrine falcon, very cool!

In this one he also has an Animagus form, but you'll have to wait to discover what it is.  As for vampire Snape. maybe someday, when I've finished my other ones.  . . .

Run quick and read Heir, so you can find out who it is!

Awesome! I loved the way Severus reacted and how he healed Harry. I could picture everything. Poor Harry, his leg must have been killing him, I've had a charley horse like that before and it's agony.

Can't wait to see what's next!

Author's Response: Yes it is and I feel so bad for him.  But Severus fixes him, so it's all right.

Oh I love this story. I wonder if Harry will remember sneaking out of bed to duel with Malfoy at Midnight, that would be interesting to confess. Keep up the great work and please update ASAP. :)

Author's Response: It would be, if Harry could ever bring himself to confess it and risk Sev's disapproval,

Awesome chapter! This was really good. I know it most likely won't happen for a while, if at all, but I can't wait to see Sev get his revenge! LOL!
Again great job. I'm looking forward to your update.

Author's Response: Sev will get his revenge eventually, but first he has to discover who hurt Harry.  And that will take awhile!

Well, it couldn't have been Peeves who pushed Harry because he would have felt the cold so that would leave several possibilities... hmmm. Not Draco since he's stuck in his dormitory... my initial thought was Quirrell and I think I'll stick with that idea for now.

Severus' response was perfect. I really like how you've developed the relationaship between Harry and him over the course of the story.

I can also really sympathise with Harry, I fell earlier in the year, messed my knee up thoroughly and got horrific charley horses all up and down my leg . It's even worse to get them when your leg is splinted up from hip to ankle. I sure could have used Severus' wonderful hands and healing potions that particular night!

I really love this story and I'm sorry for not reviewing every chapter as I read it. I'll try to do better at that because you are doing excellent writing and storytelling here.

    Author's Response:

You can keep guessing on who it was, you won't find out till the end of this.  I really tried to make their relationship something of wonder as well as a bit of angst, and eventually Harry will grow to love Severus and Severus might even unbend enough to call harry "son" to his face.

The charley horse addition came from my mother, who gets them sometimes from her Parkinsons, and she could use a good masseuse as well and some magic potions.  But the only thing we had on hand were Tylenol and tonic water and warm towels.  That worked, eventually.  Glad I've never had them though.

So glad you could review and you're liking this one, it's a very special one for me.
