Fabulous story! It was really sweet and heartwarming. I would love see more of Harry, Severus, and Boreal. I hope that someday you will continue this lovely story.

Author's Response: Thanks so much! When I finish my other fics I will do the sequel to this one.

I greatly enjoyed this story. It made my roommate look at me and tell me that I was nuts a few times as I sat here reading it with a ridiculously large grin or giggling, but I loved it. Thanks!

    Author's Response: Thanks very much!

I must have been seriously high when I reviewed this chapter...

If it were not for the fact that I'm at work, I'd be bawling my eyes out. The little touch with Lily at the very end was beautiful and poetic; Severus deserves the love of a woman but I'm in no mood to share him in this story. Alas! Severus is suffereing through what every parent does when a child leaves home - what will he do when Harry decides it really /is/ time to move out?

I greatly enjoyed Sev's sense of humor and it's nice to know that he has one. I am thrilled that Harry's dark angel will continue to protect and guide and love him... as only a father can.

I am still very eagerly looking forward to the sequel.

And, of course, Wraith and Whisper fuzziness.

    Keep writing and keep smiling!

    Always yours,
    Jewels.

    Author's Response:

Lord only knows how Severus will deal with that, but that's at least five years away so he has time to reconcile himself.

I had to put Lily in there somehow, since she was the one who started it all.

yes, Sev has a sense of humor, he just keeps it hidden. But on rare occasions, he lets it out to play.

Harry will really need Severus as the years go on and there will be more opportunities for them to bond as father and son, in snow leopard form and out of it.

    Thanks as always, Jewels!

Wonderful! Wonderful! I wasn't sure I was going to like a "Snape/Harry" story, but you hooked me with the first chapter! A continuation please??

Author's Response: Thanks! I love Snape and Harry stories and I'm so glad you took a chance on this one and enjoyed it.  I will be continuing this, I just don't know when.  I'm writing another different Snape Harry story right now on here called Broken Wings.

I FINALLY got to finish reading this story, and am so happy I did! It was a nice addition to my Christmas :)

This story has been a fun experience to read, I enjoyed every minute of it. Your stories always entertain me and play with my emotions. I love the way you write and the characters you create, they are both really well formed.

The race was yet another brilliant idea and you did a great job creating it. Boreal is awesome too, he’s quite a character :D. This story had a wonderful ending, but I sure wouldn't mind reading more.

If you write a sequel, please let me know!

    Author's Response:

You're welcome, hope your Christmas was a great one!

I'm seriously considering a sequel to this, I'm coming up with lots of alternatives to COS at the moment.  This was such a fun story to write, since I got to explore a very different side of Sev and Harry, and the secrecy was driving me as crazy as Harry sometimes, LOL!  But things should get even more crazy with Dobby, Boreal, and everyone at Hogwarts, right?

In the meantime, though, I've written several small one shots and finished the prequel, Where Shadows Go, featuring little toddler Harry, Sev, & Lily for my Never Again series.  I've added a halloween fic to it and a Christmas one and some others with a five year old Harry watching Matt's dog.  And I've started a new series, Snowy Encounters, which is a series of short stories with Harry and Sev in winter time.  Let me know what you think, Beth!
