I really like how the other adults in this story don't really understand Severus' affinity for the child and aren't really willing to go the extra mile for Harry. I suppose they're probably a bit afraid of him because they don't understand him. It's still sad though.
This was my favorite line: "Then again, he thought with a smirk, most of the dunderheads he taught didn’t understand what he was saying to them. At least Harry had an excuse not to."--Lol, good one!

I liked this chapter, especially with Severus lecturing the two other wizards! Good for him!

Thanks for answering my questions about his condition. There was another story like this that I read, but it was eventually abandoned. I occasionally come across it hoping it will be continued. I hope your version can go farther.
