Oh, I love the mental image your description of the last little bit when the transfiguration wore off gave me! I like how you're going slow with Harry's responsiveness to his new environment... that's very realistic, and I like also how Snape is still the snarky, impatient fellow he is in canon, but is making a conscious effort to act with patience and even understanding as Harry begins to learn how to live outside of his cage. Nicely done!
Haha, I called that one. I do think the idea of Severus running around the house in his swimmer is rather funny. I also enjoyed the water fight and the transfigured clothes. Cute--I liked it!

Good story. Keep going with it, please.
I love this story so very much. I think the thing I like most about this story is the adorable little reactions that your Harry has. Lifting up his ball, splashing Snape...Snape warming up enough to splash back. You made Dudley more remorseful than most usually make him...but I think if he never knew about Harry..he would be. He wouldn't know his parents ways in regard to his cousin. In short I love this story and I love this chapter. Update soon please.
Author's Response: Haha, thank you! I'll try and update ASAP- which is still slow in regard to my readers, unfortunately. Between work and school I hardly have any time for writing, and I have to have enough time to write the entirity of the chapter at once or I end up getting stuck.

Wonderful chapter1 Loved the way severus handled Harry, he behaved like an intelligent adult here instead of a venegful idiot, much like you'd expect a professor with an emotionally damaged child to behave, because though Severus might have issues with harry's father, I think he could put them aside in this situation, he is not stupid nor obsessed. Sometimes people forget that as a spy he would HAVE to put aside his personal feelings in order to do his job well, and if he could do it with evil creatures like Voldy & the DE, he could do it with Harry, who is a helpless child.
Hope you update soon, this one is one of my favs and I want to see what happens next.

Author's Response: I'm glad you like how Severus dealt. I don't want him to be too lenient because 1) that doesn't seem Severus-ish and 2) it wouldn't help Harry, in the long run... At the same time, Harry is damaged and does needed to be treated w/ caution.
Lol that'll teach him for getting in the bath in transfigured clothes : ) its cute that he seems to be getting at least some progress with Harry : )
Author's Response: Hee hee... Yup, it's all Sev's fault... Oh, well. Yeah, I wanted to move it along so it seems like Harry has some chance, at least. I have Harry's ability to comprehend things a bit higher than is practical just to move the story along, but I haven't gotten any complaints so far... I might find a way to explain that later on anyway, who knows?

Poor Severus. Having the temp transfigurations were off. Severus will definitely need to find some way to communicate with Harry. The sooner the better. Anyways, keep up the good work!
Author's Response: Haha.. Well, a lesson learned and all that. Harry enjoyed being in with his clothes. It is hard for him not being able to have a proper conversation with the boy, but Harry listens, if you notice... The hard thing is that Severus isn't sure how much Harry understands and how much is going over his head.
